The NFL needs:

I don't know Chris Carter's contract situation. Maybe they renew these NFL TV guys annually. But he needs to be fired. The NFL needs to make ESPN fire him.

If he does have a contract, maybe it will be like Dan Marino. Remember when Marino banged that CBS producer. They didn't fire him right away but a year later his contract expired and they just didn't renew him.

But the NFL has taken an image beating over the last year. You can't have Chris Carter be on ESPN Sundays and Mondays when he was teaching rookies how to get away with crimes. It's bad optics.

I think the NFL will make ESPN fire him, though. Maybe they're working on a buy out now.

It really should be a bigger issue as it is a leader in the African American community perpetuating several harmful stereotypes.

I'm pretty sure he spoke to ALL NFL players. Remember, the person who broke this story was Chris Borland. Last time I checked, Chris Borland was white.

And the fact that 70% of the NFL is black, suggests that most of the players that he'll be speaking to are in fact, black. Also, suggests that a good percentage of the players who will get in trouble will be black. It's a numbers thing.
