That is just the Cub fan in you / us. Game 1 of this series is probably "bigger" than the rest. If they (Cubs) can win that one....then so-be-it if they lost the next two.

Cubs have no chance in Game 3 and most likely will lose Game 2 as well. It's up to Arrieta tonight to avoid the sweep. Even if the Cubs do get swept, it doesn't matter as they've pretty much already locked up a wild card spot.

SF is going to look like the 08 Cubs vs. Dodgers. Going to feel the pressure and lose 3/4 to the Cubs.

Its fun to WHOOMP up on the bad teams, much better to play and beat good teams.

Don't want to go Teinowitz on everyone here, but how cool is West Coast baseball when your team is playing? Remember back to when you were a little kid, didn't you love when the Cub were on their West Coast swing?

I'm pumped!

This shit blows chunks. I'll be passed out by the third inning.

west coast ball was OK when you were a kid in summer and didn't have to wake up until 11:00 the next day.

So long everybody!

Cedarstrom is umpire at 2nd which means he will get the plate for game 3. He is known to squeeze pitchers.

He only hit that because he's a good DH.
Or something.
His swing is too big and slow. Should have gone in the ocean.

Rusty Stuab?

And I'm convinced the DH is coming to the NL, so all these defensive worries with Kyle will be for naught.
