It's not that I don't care. Feel horrible for their families and friends. But I'm not watching any of this coverage. I guess I don't care about the coverage anymore. It's the same shit every time. Gun people screaming at the non gun people.

The coverage on FOX tonight of the incident makes me sick. Everything about the woman and nothing about the camera-man, as if he didn't matter.

My heart goes out to all the victims today and all the victims and their families of the N.C. shootings, which was equally horrible.

For as much credit as he is given as a civil rights activists and visionary, no one takes heed to what Martin Luther King Jr. said about violence, when people should.

I avoid all this shit for the most part anyways unless it's a mega story. I pretty much never watch the news. The world is cruel, I'm well aware. I rather play some video games or watch sports when I get home and try to forget that this shit even exists.

I was talking about black-on-white violence, which Obama has never spoken out about. Yesterday that was probably black-on-black violence, which he hasn't spoken about either. It's only white-on-black violence that he speaks out against.

President Barack Obama expressed his sadness Wednesday over the shooting of two television journalists during a live broadcast.

"It breaks my heart every time you read or hear about these kinds of incidents," Obama told WPVI's Monica Malpass during an interview at the White House.

"What we know is that the number of people who die from gun-related incidents around this country dwarfs any deaths that happen through terrorism," Obama added.

Reporter Alison Parker, 24, and cameraman Adam Ward, 27, of Roanoke-based news station WDBJ in Virginia were shot and killed Wednesday morning by a former WDBJ reporter. Suspect Vester Lee Flanagan later died of self-inflicted gunshot wounds.

Obama is no stranger to mass shootings, having spoken out on more than 14 since taking office. He has called the failure to pass gun reform "the greatest frustration" of his presidency, but vowed to not give up on the issue.

Im neither for or against gun control but unless you're willing to take the drastic step of shutting down every gun manufacturer in the world along violating the Bill of Rights, shut the fuck up about it. Any gun legislation would be about as effective as existing laws against fireworks on the 4th of July.

I don't think McCullough's book on Truman has anything about him being a KKK member, but I'll check. I know a little about Truman, and can't imagine that he was. He was a failed owner of a shirt shop, who became a Pendergast man.

Shouldn't affirmative action have been repealed? It gave us Obama.
