It's true. Firm, yet gentle.

Dammit.

I was going for forceful, yet unrelenting.

You say tomato, I say potato.

that's what i told him so that i'd get a forceful yet unrelenting hug. and it worked.

The IMU vs Spanky "thing" is not going the way IMU intended.

Not sure what I intended besides voicing my opinions. And if I do care about others' opinions, then the PM's, Facebook post, and COC chat patting me on the back for what I said serves the purpose.

I don't need others to publicly back me up in order to validate what I said. Others are less comfortable being as upfront. And it is probably better for them anyway. Who wants to get into an actual discussion with spanky? I certainly regret every interaction with him.

Apparently? lol. I was nominated for Post of the Year, even! #legend

It is done. I said my piece. I'm not going to harp on this. But spanky being spanky...he is going to spend the next few weeks taking shots at my in various threads that will be derailed in similar fashion to this one.

Brace yourselves.

So 1 person made a post about it on Facebook and I didn't see any other negative comments, is that right?

add me to that list. Although I guess running me over on a basketball court doesn't count as a "hug". But I'm a spanky guy.

Who is this group of people who talks shit about Spanky behind his back? If that is true, it reflects much more poorly on these people, than it does Spanky. If Facebook and CoC are filled with this much schoolgirl gossip, I'm glad that I am a part of neither.

And put me in the group that believes that you would not call Spanky a bitch to his face.

You joined us at the bar near Douchebag's, and you think I wouldn't? Hah. Okay.

I don't think anyone is afraid to tell spanky what they think about him. I think they're smarter than me in that they don't want to engage him on the board in any fashion.

I don't think that is fair. In any board related event either online or offline, discussion of board happenings will occur.

I'm sure when you guys get together for golf that certain happenings on the board come up from time to time too.

I don't know what that means. I met you guys for a couple drinks. I didn't see you call anybody a bitch to their face, but I was also engaged in conversation with a bunch of people.

IMU wrote:

What people? My point is that it's a lot easier to call somebody a bitch, from behind a keyboard.

IMU wrote:

To each their own. I am a fan of Spanky, on the board, and in real life.

Of course, at board events, the board is discussed. I'm talking about a group of people ripping somebody behind their back, little schoolgirls.

I just golfed with Furious and Shakes. We talked very little about the board. Furious briefly talked about Darkside's party, but that was about it.

Correction, we did talk about the Pittmike/Me situation.

Nobody talked shit about him, however. I love Pittmike, even though he hates me.

Well, the positive and negative parts of the board are discussed. It's not like it's a constant "This guy sucks" discussion.

I'm just clarifying that both positive and negative posts are talked about. If it happens that some people get a lot of negative reactions then that is what happens.

But you did. We aren't constantly talking about the board either. It just comes up from time to time.

That's quite a bit different than "poster X is a bitch, and these people agreed with me at Darkside's party, on Facebook, and CoC chat".

We mostly talked golf, the burgers we ate at the turn, and the two girls in bikini tops, smoking a bowl by one of the tee boxes.

So who is a part of this secret cabal of board members that "Pat you on the back" (oh boy!) for goin' after Big Bad Spanky?

Looks like we may have to create an " Imaginary Reality" board term for IMU. It dove tails nicely with "Imaginary Radio" and "Imaginary Message Board."

Things are getting wobbily over here.

Yeah. 8)

I was using it ironically. Asshat doesn't seem like something someone could say while genuinely angry.

Chus attacks on coc aren't appreciated by some. For anyone who has spent 5 mins in chat they know the topics are weird and random but generally aren't about the board. Nothing has been posted in chat about a poster that hasn't been shared here. Also some think you're a douchebag because a few posters were banned because they came to your defense and you've ignored them since you returned.
