Sure Russell has a big lead on all of them. Soler helped himself by going back on the DL. Schwarber is late to the game and people take a little more notice of him because of the power numbers. The dark horse, of course, is Baez when he is brought back up. Then there is Bryant but he doesn't seem to dip below .250.

Schwarber, Soler, Russell and Bryant are all solid to outstanding young ballplayers who are likely to only get better. With Russell's improvements at the dish, I have to go with Soler to have the least outstanding season. But it's an embarrassment of riches on the North side.

You really must be frustrated with all the outstanding young talent on this Cubs team. Even the guys who might produce less spectacularly will still have had solid seasons, with expectations for even better years ahead.
