Looking at Lester's season (as well as his last game), Arrieta's season (including this gem) and their individual records against Pittsburgh, there is no question. Arrieta is 5-0 vs the Pirates with an ERA under 2.50 . With Lester's issues with throws to bases and holding runners, as well as Ross being his regular catcher (which weakens the offense) there is no question in my mind that Arrieta has to start the wild card.
