Matt Rodewald is hosting and doing some bad work with the 'Is Cutler a Good QB?"

GB Fan calls in and says Rodgers make his WR's better, where Cutler needs his WR's to be really good...or at least bigger so he has a bigger target, which I have been an advocate of for years and years, way before Cutler!

Rodewald, traffic reporter, says "Maybe if Rodgers had Cutlers targets he wouldnt be as good and if Cutler was throwing to Jordy Nelson, he wouldn't....." Yeah then he realized how dumb he actually was, thinking Rodgers wouldnt be as good if he was throwing to Marshall and JEFFERIES (The new Jewels and Soldiers)...COME ON!

Packer Sunday and this is the best the Score can do?

Stick to traffic

You would think they could make a Drinky, Finfer or more main line personality work.

Dont need a big shooter!

Just a guy who doesnt think #12 wouldnt be as good if he has Marshall and Jefferies! (Haywood)

I think it was him hosting yesterday morning.

He was taking time to explain why he hadn't watched the 3rd Bears preseason game the night before. The night before you are going to host a Sunday morning Chicago sports program.

He said nobody cares about the 2nd or 3rd stringers. The whole season is basically just going to be a tryout so it's not really worth watching the actual preseason (is he going to watch any game?).

I really couldn't comprehend his position. He said he didn't feel obligated to watch the game to host his show. Hell, I feel obligated to watch the game just to post on this stupid board.

I watch the damn Senior Bowl practices to scout the players for the NFL game. NFL Preseason is like the Super Bowl compared to that stuff.

His voice had a hint of real satisfaction with himself for that viewpoint. It was quite something.

Said it before and I'll say it again, worst Score host.

He really does expose his dumb thoughts to the crowd then pull a mini-Bernstein to try & defend them. I haven't been able to listen on Sunday mornings in months.

One of my ex-girlfriends is friends with him. I always see her "liking" pics of him with his wife and kid. I'm guessing he's a Marquette guy?

Hmmm. I wonder how she knows him then. Maybe the wife is from Marquette.

Which show was that, the Matt Rodewald Breakfast of Condescension?

I'm pretty sure it was Rodewald. He gave off a ton of Bernstein vibes. He was scolding callers and complaining about texters and their quality. He spent half his time talking about the texters and how bad they were and how they have to be better. It made for bad radio. If you don't like the texters and their 'quality', ignore them and do the show.

Oh, I did laugh when he told someone to stop listening and not to listen to the show anymore. Bernstein had to be his mentor. Too many tell-tale signs.

I usually do my grocery shopping early on Saturday or Sunday morning and flip around the dial as I'm in and out of the car. Pickins' are pretty slim on Sunday mornings, it's either various public affairs programming, someone remarkably dull named Ian or Jon on ESPN, and Rodewald on 'SCR. The last two Sundays I went I heard a grand total of about 10 minutes of the latter and he did exactly what Quadrophenia said.

This fucking Caller Bob is on the air for 2 hours a week on Sunday morning before most people are probably up and he acts like he has the worst job in the world. How someone who is on for so little at a time when so few people are listening has the nerve to complain about the "quality" of callers and texters and tells people "Don't listen, this isn't for you." is beyond me.

It's embarrassing.

Rodewald sucks. Sadly, he has plenty of company.

I agree 100%.

Preseason football is sloppy and unappealing, and doesn't have any affect on the 30 odd players that actually make a difference on an NFL roster.

 Possible but doubtful. She's good friends with Ken Sumka. Maybe that's the connection.
