Cooking packages for people who don't like buying or cutting ingredients but really like combining and heating things.

Complete with plastic plates in case you are too lazy to do dishes, like Dan.

Dinner at the Bernstein hovel. How glorious would that be? A totally ordinary bottle of juice. A meal in a box. Lawyer talk. Magnifique!

Who orders this stuff...& why? People who don't know how to operate a knife?

I do applaud the entrepreneur who started this company & is making money off of lazy folks.

I buy cut up melons. I'm not good at picking them out. Occasionally grapes but that's laziness and time.

Buying precut fruit is a great way to save time and waste money.

There is some value.

It is a good way to learn how to cook. One of my wifes co-workers got a subscription because he didn't know anything about cooking and he learned a lot just from that in an easy way.

That is a good way to learn how to make a meal.

A better way to learn how to cook is to get to know the ingredients and the variations of them.

My wife and I actually do something similar to Blue Apron. It's called the Dinner Club. Except you actually have to go to the place and prepare the meals. They have all the stuff you need and directions already picked out. You just need to put it together and throw it in your freezer for when you want to heat it up. I was really skeptical at first but the meals are really fucking good. Saves a lot of time for us.

I didn't realize cooking meals at home was such a difficult task.

They aren't cut goofus.

We tried the dinner club in Lagrange. It was okay food was a little processed tasting and most would have been easy to make.

Saw a guy on Chicago's Best cutting grapes using a novel method. He placed a bunch of grapes on a plastic container lid (maybe 6" in diameter) and then covered it with another lid of the same size, but upside down. Pressing down on the the top lid firmly (but not too hard), he took one long slice through the slit and cut all the grapes in a single motion.

Worth remembering. Thx.

Almost surely a better than average way of contracting a foodborne illness, too. Inject factory food processing into anything and reap the rewards. Unfortunately, the rewards are at best diarrhea and at worst, death.

Yes, sir. Every Sunday, I buy my fruit and vegetables for the week, cut them up into portions, and package them for my lunches.
