I already answered this but I have to say that you know that "Few" doesn't necessarily mean three right?

nope, where I come from a few means 3. If you want to say 2 say a couple. If there's some technical definition that states that a few could mean 2 then you are in the vast minority of people who know and use that. The majority associate few with 3 and a couple with 2 so I would advise using those terms so as not to confuse your point.
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/fewIf it's ok, I'll use the dictionary definition.

But hey, I understand your confusion in thinking that I had actually thought I had watched three episodes instead of two.
Oh, and just for fun.
Here is an example of shakes using the term few while not meaning 3.

Just be warned, your posting history includes you using the word few a lot, and this would be a topic you should just drop. Just trying to help you out here.

In real life, the riot would not have been 100% white hipsters.

I'm a pretty liberal guy myself, but when you watch this show, there are an awful lot of small hints at a liberal agenda

yep, me using the term "few" to refer to an ambiguous number that was unclear to me and also unimportant vs you using it to refer to an easily identifiable number less than 3 in an effort to artificially bolster your point through deception.

definitely analogous.

But kudos to you for taking the time to search for that. What kind of useless fuck takes the time to do that?

It took me about 10 seconds, and it was worth it to show how silly your lecture about word choice was.

Deception? Are you insane? Seriously? You caught my secret plan to make people think there have been three episodes instead of two!

You're nuts. That was one of the most intense hours of TV I've seen in a long time. We're 2 episodes in and we're now in full on ZA. I don't see how you can say it took a long time to get there.

No we are not. As of right now we are in a looting stage brought about by cops firing on citizens.

Yep, guidance couneslor should definitely take heed when troubled kid tells her that society as she knows it is ending in the next day or so. What was she thinking not going out to Costco to stock up and instead going to the hospital to see her son and then going out to look for him when she finds out he escaped.

As for sister, she attempted to leave brother resting on couch to check in with boyfriend sick in bed. She came back when he had a seizure. She's also 17 or 18 and had a boyfriend, is it really that surprising she would try to leave??

Oh wait, I forgot, that's now how keyboard superstar Brick would've handled it.

You think all those screams going on outside the barbershop later in the night are from the 5 cops who showed up shooting people???

Maybe there have been three episodes because I seem to remember a scene where they were alone in the high school and he was telling her all the things she should do in the last one I saw. They didn't bring anything with them from the school, and didn't go anywhere to get more stuff.

No. It is cops and rioters/looters. We have seen many examples of what is going on in this episode over the past year. It started as an angry riot. As we saw in the trailers for the next episode, zombies will start to emerge but right now its just a riot.

I'll rewatch it, but from my first impression there was way too much blood curdling screaming going on to be just from cops vs looters. Also, there were only a handful of cops present which makes it even more unlikely that the screaming was from the cops shooting people. The dad also looked out the window and saw a zombie, but that could've been in the preview for next week, not sure.

According to Brick there's no difference.

I don't agree with that. At this point they don't really know the scope of what is happening. They don't know they are essentially dealing with an extinction level event. They just had their first full on encounter with a zombie attack and obviously they are a little rattled by having to just kill the principal. Not going to hold it against them that they panicked and left all the food.

Also, you say "in real life" but in all those real life events people are given ample warning that something is coming. So they have time to stock up. In FTWD, everything was fine when they woke up, but 5 pm there is total gridlock and panic. Not exactly enough time to run down to walmart with a shopping list. Unless you are saying that the news is "predicting a foot of zombies" in which case then yes, they should've heeded that warning.

They took the time to wheel that fucking food all through the school but, in the end, as they were strolling through the parking lot, they didn't bother to bring the food with them?

And why did the fat kid leave Kim Dickens? He was the first one in the pilot to say "we're safer in numbers", wasn't he? Or do I have that wrong?

He just plans to take on the world, Kung Fu-style with his kitchen steak knife?

The food thing could be chalked up to panic and the zombie attack by the principal but they did end up chillin' out in the parking lot, so....

But as for the kid not wanting to go with the mom....he definitely sees that she/they aren't ready for this whole thing and he doesn't want to hitch his wagon to that.

Did you see that kid trying to stab the Principal? He's toast.

He's only alive because of the MILF. Hitch onto the MILF wagon.

I thought the episode was pretty good. I trust that they are building up to a solid back half of the 6 episode arc. I am hesitant to poo poo
this thing off the bat when they have most of the Walking Dead group involved with production. Yes it was stupid not to bring the food but
she just killed her friend the principal and the kid almost became a meal. The kid knows a lot but she didn't seem to take him seriously.
No one is quite certain how exactly to kill them yet or what is really going on. The scene with the cop filling his cruiser with water was
definitely telling.

Certainly someone does, that is why I feel this series holds so much promise. Was this a government program gone haywire somehow?
The dead homeless man and the other young alternative woman zombie were both shot in the eye and killed but as the kid walks up to
the protest we see a policeman has been bitten so it would appear that some know and some don't.

All good points. We also see the hazmat team out and about and I think the first ep hs thevold guy dying next to Nick and the Dr said something about "60 seconds get him outta here..." Or something like that. Info is out there in limited forma for the authorities while people like Tobias get it from the internet "free media sights" and then peoe like the mom just think the authorities will be forthright and fix it.

I think at this stage the epidemic started on the recent past and only now has it begun to hit critical mass. Communications down, power on and off, mass confusion and public unrest.

Also, "Zombies" do not exist in this universe. There is no George A. Romero coming to save you, Tom Savini isn't walking through that door.

I rewatched the first ep and the convo went like this...

Doc: "How long has he been down?"
Nurse: "30 seconds"
Doc: Get him downstairs at 60 seconds. There's so much we don't know!"

So I'm guessing the hospital only knows that corpses are rising and attacking. They probably have a room downstairs full of them (big mistake).

I checked on IMBD, Tobias is not in any more episodes this season. My guess (and hope) is that he pops up again in season 2 or even 3 and is a much tougher, leaner person. Similar to Morgan on TWD.

Either way, my guess is that this isn't the last we'll be seeing of Tobias.
