He's at the bar with Bernstein and Rozner doing updates. Just heard his last one. Pretty sure he's been drinking today. Even Bernstein said "Are you OK?". I mean they're always weird, stupid and bad updates, but this last one was a different kind of weird, stupid and bad.

He might have been sipping the cough medicine yesterday. During an update, Aaaaahbattacola mentioned the Orlando Magic's search for a coach and then asked Dan if he wanted to read over their roster in a sarcastic tone. Bernsie seemed a bit flummoxed by such a brash question. Must be difficult for Matt to hide his loathing on a daily basis.

Could it be someone spoke to Drinky? I have had to turn off his sports updates because they were monotone and he sounded completely disinterested. No inflections just boring. Today I notice he actually sounds somewhat engaged. But everyone who has commented on his utter lack of humor is absolutely correct. He isnt half as funny as he believes himself to be.

He was the funniest guy in his class.

That was weird. Bernstein asked "Where's drinky?" Terry's response: "He's long gone."

So he just takes off from his job? Probably to catch the earlier train so he doesn't miss any of the Hawks game. Bernstein sounded perplexed by it as he should. He just up and leaves his shift without telling anybody? Well I guess he told Terry. He doesn't talk to Bernstein as he often says.

That's what I mean about the SCORE. They all feel comfortable to do whatever. It's gotta be a great place to work. Bosses don't say anything to anybody.

I guess it kind of shows you the importance of producers. When the Executive Producer leaves and hour or so before the show ends without telling the host. Kind of tells you they're really not that important. Especially for the B&B show.

What a dolt. Dan just did a read for "Sports Clips". I don't know. 5:30 drive time hour. Probably cost them several hundred dollars for that mention.

Then drinky immediately chimes in with "I go to Super Clips for my hair cuts." Bernsetin is stunned. Drinky said "Don't you hear my reads for them?" So they get a free mention on the other hair cuts place's time slot. Drinky just has no sense or awareness. Even Bernstein was floored by his stupidity.

Drinks sounded drunk today.

These two guys today have probably made dumber comments disguised in their fake legal viewpoints.

It's just awful listening to drinky. There was a legal term in the Kane trial that drinky got wrong trying to sound smart and Bernstein had to correct him. Of course, he's on the same page as Bernstein with the Toews comments on Canadian radio.

When it's drinky with Bernstein, it really is a dumb puppy trying to please his master. Yeah, drinky does the high school, punk thing with Bernstein where he'll make fun of him. But when it comes to serious sports issues, drinky knows to agree with the great one. Cuz he fears Bernstein's wrath otherwise. He fears being treated like a caller. Cuz drinky knows he really is a Bernstein caller. A dumb ass.

I do find the show interesting for this. Same with Goff's interactions with Bernstein. They are dumb, scared guys afraid to cross their master. Bernstein know it too.

Drinky and Goff have no idea that Bernstein thinks they're dumb. Maybe cuz they don't want to admit it to themselves. But it's true.

yeah they shoulda removed the "KANE" off of the back of his jerseys and then had him play in a ski mask under his helmet. that'll learn him for crossing the second great and bountiful blackhawks empire!

Caught drinky saying something that he says often.

No, drinky. You do hate him. Just admit it. It's OK. You're justified to hate him. You deny it so often which means it has to be true. Bernstein belittles and patronizes you all the time. Of course you hate him.

There was a youtube video of drinky where he was drunk at B&B's anniversary party and said he hated Bernstein. You could tell he wasn't joking by his eyes. There was pure hate in his eyes. Eyes don't lie.

One of these days, drinky won't be on the air.

Why?

Because he will be in Beardown's basement, duct taped to his boiler, being whipped by Beardown, wearing his Sunday best S&M outfit.

Tuned in to Hit and Run today and he was blabbering about how great the show is. He alluded to some mitigating factor regarding ratings (White Sox???). It sounded like he was begging his superiors to not cancel the show and rob him of his only regular(ish) hosting gig.
It's just my interpretation... of the situation.

The "Drinky & Rozner" version of "Hit & Run" is weird. Didn't hear it today, but in past weeks it's been Rozner and a sub. Drinky bails on the show a lot. Which is cool if he has family stuff, but why agree to do the show if you can't make it most of the time? Rozner has a family too and he's always there.

But when it is Rozner and drinky they have these weird moments where they're just laughing and something stupid or screaming at people that "Don't understand the Cubs plan".
