Did yuo forget the rules...

ALL Cubs prospects FAIL ...ALL the time...

He is bust ... Alexei and Brooks FAR Superior.

He's a future star, Any retard who thinks Alexi is better needs their head examined and a helmet.

You wouldnt know a "future star" if one helped you slap your girlfriend. You thought Patterson, Pie, Castro etc. were all "future stars".

I disagree. The numbers don't support that unless you take an INQUISITIVELY arbitrary chunk of games.

Alexie 495 AB 48R 26D 0T 9HR .255BA .284OBP.362SLG .648OPS 179TB
with 98 fewer ABs
Addison 397 AB 50R 24D 1T 12HR .242BA ..300 OBP .398SLG .698 OPS 158TB

CLEARLY everyone but a blind biased baseball fan can see Russell is better this year.

Based on what?

It is not like Alexei is tearing it up right now. He has a little better average. Addison has more HRs, higher OPS and OPS+

Their fielding % is the same. Alexei has way more errors

RFDC, do yourself a favor and treat JORR's baseball post like an article on TMZ. JORR is now a SHOCKPOSTER.

Well, unlike many modern fans I don't view the game as if I'm a GM. I don't care about anything but the current season. If I'm trying to win this year I have to take Alexei. And if I'm a Cub fan and I can lock Russell's next five seasons at Alexei's best five, I'd do it. And I'm biased because I don't particularly like Alexei.

Yes. No knowledgable baseball fan would rather have Alexei over Russell. Thats just crazy talk. Almost as bad as thinking DJ is a better color analyst than Stone.

Youre not anywhere close to as knowledgeable a fan as I am.

Youre a biased Cub clown. Why else would you want a rookie over an experienced player with similar numbers?

They dont show it. He doesnt have Ramirez's range and he's had to put up a huge 50 game stretch just to get around even with a bad Ramirez season.

Why not enjoy your team's nice season and stop worrying about White Sox players in their declining years?

Why don't you suffer in silence with your team's miserable season and stop worrying about Cubs players in their rookie year?

Sure, just as soon as you figure out a way to compliment the Cubs rookie shortstop's mediocre rookie season without mentioning a White Sox player.

That's fine. But if you read the entire theead, you would note that I stated that I don't view the game that way. I'm a fan, not a general manager. I might be dead next season and a great prospect might turn into Starlin Castro or Gordon Beckham.

Nope. The pressure is getting to THE INQUISITOR and you too. You've seen this show before. Everyone has. You know what's coming so you're preempting the inevitable failure of the Cubs by choosing instead to focus on the obvious and admitted incompetence of the Sox.

I'd been thinking about this the past few days.

I think Russell's season is nearly, not there, but nearly as impressive as Schwarber or Bryant. He's playing solid D while being moved around at such a young age and he's getting quality ABs.

With the way he's developing at the plate the past few weeks, he's already a solid middle-infielder but you can see the potential to be a real anchor for the team for many years. I'm very excited about his prospects.

It's been a very good year to be a Cubs fan.

Agreed. He's a middle infielder, for Theo's sakes. His power numbers during a shortened season are impressive without context. Consider that he's a rookie and he's just getting hot and... well, allow me to come back in a few minutes.

JORR, if you are such a knowledgeable fan then why do you continue to ignore my request for actual stats for this season that show Alexei is the better SS?

I have asked 2 times and all you do is talk in circles and give no answer.

I am starting to think maybe you really are Terry Boers
