For the record, jokes aside, the Sox are my 2nd favorite team.

I watched every inning of.....2005.......hoping that, at least if the Cubs couldn't get it done, there'd be a World Series in Chicago in my lifetime.

I think it's great they got it done. If the Cubs don't win, I'd want it to be the Sox. I think it would be amazing to see them in the playoffs together making some noise. Chicago would be up for grabs.

But, I didn't grow up in Chicago. I had to come to Chicago to learn that I couldn't really have that opinion.

Guys like Scooter, Scorehead, THE INQUISTOR, 312player, etc. make them hateable.

And your non senseble rambling makes it all worthwile. Go Sux.

This is possibly the most ironic statement in the history of irony.

I need someone murdered.

It needs to be done with discretion. It can't be one of those flashy murders.

We'll talk.

So, it's a no on the murder, then?

It was a joke, of course.

Go Cubs!

This is exactly how I feel except switch the teams around. I will always be more of a Sox fan but always liked the Cubs as well. I know I'm gonna get crucified but mom is a Cubs fan and dad is a Sox fan so I got the best of both worlds growing up.

I couldn't be happier for you guys who are diehard Northside fans. It's a great season and I can't wait to see a WS title in Wrigleyville during my lifetime. I really thought the Sox would have had a better season but what are you gonna do?

If the Sox can't be in the playoffs, I want it to be the Cubs and I will root for them every step of the way.

You do realize that all NFL teams are privately/family owned, right? Bears own this town. Sox are #5.

You do realize the Bears are one of the most mismanaged NFL teams given all their inherent advantages?

They could be in the Patriots, Packers, Cowboys, 49ers pantheon if their ownership wasn't such a Mickey Mouse operation.

I'll take it a step further and say that the Bears could have a larger fan base than any of those teams if not for... well, you know...

I don't doubt that lots of Wisconsinites are inbred but the Packers' ownership structure is not family-based.

Cubs lead 7-5 with 7 to play.

if the teams tie for the WC the head to head record is the tie breaker.
