JORR, if you are such a knowledgeable fan then why do you continue to ignore my request for actual stats for this season that show Alexei is the better SS?

I have asked 2 times and all you do is talk in circles and give no answer.

I am starting to think maybe you really are Terry Boers

JORR knows no one wants Alexi. They can't even move him for a mid level prospect. Put Russell on the trade block and you get back a couple 1st round prospects.

I think Russell's season is nearly, not there, but nearly as impressive as Schwarber or Bryant. He's playing solid D while being moved around at such a young age and he's getting quality ABs.

With the way he's developing at the plate the past few weeks, he's already a solid middle-infielder but you can see the potential to be a real anchor for the team for many years. I'm very excited about his prospects.

It's been a very good year to be a Cubs fan.

Agreed, Russell's defense is outstanding. He's got some pop also.

Nope. The pressure is getting to THE INQUISITOR and you too. You've seen this show before. Everyone has. You know what's coming so you're preempting the inevitable failure of the Cubs by choosing instead to focus on the obvious and admitted incompetence of the Sox.

I feel no pressure. I'm enjoying the ride. Very much so. I'm more than pleased with this season however it turns out. It's been already much better than I could have hoped for when April came around.
But you...

Being both a Cubs and Sox I know that when your team is out of it in May that there is NO pressure...

again you refuse to answer any questions about why you think Ramirez is having a better year then Russell... you did the same thing with Rizzo and Abreu and had to reach all the way to Total bases to prove yur point..... now that you have Russell's stats you are left with NADA... please give a stats based response to this basic question. There isn't even a sea lawyer defense for that position.

Let's go with the theory Ramirez is having a better year than Addy.

JORR, who do you want on your team right now?

I think they're having the same year and that being the case, I'd rather have the experienced player heading into the postseason rather than the rookie. Is that a controversial position?

Why so angry, buddy? There's plenty of HVAC work, Frank is back at CSFMB, Carly Rae Jepsen has a new album out, you threw another successful Lakemoor Fest, and the Cubs are kicking ass. It's been a great summer. Chill!

You said that before and I asked if you heard of Larry Sherry, Willie McGee, Jacoby Ellsbury, or the 20 year old Mad Baum and you did not reply.... your answer is not controversial but is conversation worthy.

Okay, now you want to have a real conversation. Yeah, there have been a handful of rookies that have starred in the postseason. But I'm not betting on that.

It's pretty disingenuous for Cub fans to spend all summer posting about how "we're a year ahead of schedule" and how it's very rare for a team to contend with THREE (count 'em- 3!!!!) rookies in key spots and then turn around and try to ridicule a guy who makes the logical statement that he'd rather have a guy with basically the same numbers who isn't a rookie. When the Cubs get knocked out and all you guys are talking about what a great season it was anyway (which will be true, by the way), many are sure to point out all the rookies and that's the essence of "Who Ya Crappin'".

Judging from the PMs I receive, they most certainly do. Why don't you try not being a douchebag for awhile? That can be fun too.

Did. Not. Happen.
Plus why would you want me to stop being a douchbag? That goes against my very nature.

I have asked you 2 times in this thread to give stats for this season that show that Alexei is the better SS.

I said I'd rather have him in a pennant race this season. The numbers are almost the same. I'll take the guy with experience.

But let's get one thing straight. I hate Alexei Ramirez. Probably in the same way a lot of Cub fans hate Castro or hated Aramis. I know it's irrational though. Alexei has had a decent career. Russell would do okay duplicating it.

Why would I want to pay for mediocrity? And why would you overcharge for it? Didn't you save enough money by stealing other people's pictures and claiming them as your own work to afford to cut some deals?
