Being a bigot is big business nowadays. Look at 80% of the people running for president on the republican side of the ticket. Most of those guys have zero shot of winning, but they will get their 6-12 months of saying whatever offensive stuff they want, and then cash those checks for the next decade.

We met a couple when we were on vacation in San Diego last year. Ended up becoming FB friends with them both. Good peeps. Didn't realize how religious they were until after the fact. Not that it matters. Anyway, the guy is now seeing someone else, and posted a long diatribe Sunday about their upcoming trip to Alaska, about how they will not give in to temptation and are waiting until marriage to cream the proverbial pie. I just why anyone feels the need to throw that out there?
