Barf. Why do some fans think that sickening and unrelenting optimism makes one a good fan? It doesn't.

Curious Hair may have taken a lot of crap for his Hawks negativity this year, but I'll take it any day of the week over this garbage.

Agreed. Cubs fans are the worst.

A great year ?
No not in the least .It was a very good year .A greta year would have not ended in another Fucking sweep in the first round .
I hope to hell Mr Cuban is allowed to purchase the team .From what I seen of him .The guy does not tolerate shit like this .If he does get the team , most of what you al have said needs to change will .
Lee -prob stay
Zambrano- He will be forced to get some counseling
Sorinao ,Cuban and Lou will have a talk where he is told he will be moved down in the order .Cuban will not be told by a player where he plays
Middle relief -gone
Rameirez -see Soriano
Fukadome- cached and expexed to improve or see yah back to land of the Rising Sun

There will be a lot of movement no matter who buys the Cubs , but out ofthose left Cuban is the only hope for someone to own the club who is not only a business man but a guy who wants to win.Its in his blood ,.Also if he does get the team I do not see Wrigley staying around in its current incarnation. If he does not get major help to renovate (rebuild it ), I see the Cubbies in the Burbs within 3 years .
Just to remind people great is not fucking play like the bad news bears in the playoffs .

surprisingly readable....hmmmmm

I have to say, the way the media reports it, you would think the Cubs haven't been good in decades and that 2015 is some kind of miracle from god. Here we have a big winning team only a few years ago.

I hated piniella..hated the hire, hated this turds lazy ass approach.. Wanted Girardi..Lou is a loser..his 118 win team in Seattle didn't even make the W.S.

The 2008 team was garbage. Nobody thought they were going anywhere

Correct. First time I remember you making a statement that is actually right. Good play.

I still feel the way I did in 2008. That was a great season. A fun summer and I don't need a WS title to believe it was a great year. They led the league in victories, won their 2nd consecutive division title and I think that amounts to a great season. Would have been better still to win the title, but often the best team does not win. The team playing the best down the stretch and into the playoffs like the 83-79 Cardinals squad that won the title, can get a championship even though they really were not the best team. They got hot at the right time and got great pitching at the right time. Who knows, maybe that can be the scenario this season for the Cubs.

The wink is unnecessary. That can absolutely happen to the Cubs. Their biggest obstacle is a one-game playoff.
