Were you unable to understand my post or you just chose to ignore it?

If the entire constitution is based on rights granted by a supreme being (your words), then god granted black people the right of being 3/5ths of a person.

So you didn't understand it.

I already did.

Actually you didn't, so let's summarize for you and see what part of this is incorrect.

Ms. Davis said this is a "heaven or Hell decision". She is correct. except it is GOD'S decision, not her's. If she doesn't think that gays are going to hell then it shouldn't matter to God one lickety fuck if she grants them a marriage licence. God will be the judge, not her. She somehow feels that with her new found faith in Christ that she gets to make the decisions that God should be making. There's a nice big segment of the population that likes to yell about religious persecution and freedom that wants nothing more than to force their beliefs on the masses. You seem to be one of those people. Care to rebut any of that? ;-)

You did not, and if you had, then you'd have no problem responding with an actual answer.

The bottom line is that if you thinking granting a marriage license to a gay person is going to send you to hell then you also think that they are going to hell.

Kentucky clerk Kim Davis on gay marriage licenses: ‘It is a Heaven or Hell decision’
By Abby Ohlheiser

..'

I have worked in the Rowan County Clerk’s office for 27 years as a Deputy Clerk and was honored to be elected as the Clerk in November 2014, and took office in January 2015. I love my job and the people of Rowan County. I have never lived any place other than Rowan County. Some people have said I should resign, but I have done my job well. This year we are on track to generate a surplus for the county of 1.5 million dollars.

In addition to my desire to serve the people of Rowan County, I owe my life to Jesus Christ who loves me and gave His life for me. Following the death of my godly mother-in-law over four years ago, I went to church to fulfill her dying wish. There I heard a message of grace and forgiveness and surrendered my life to Jesus Christ. I am not perfect. No one is. But I am forgiven and I love my Lord and must be obedient to Him and to the Word of God.

Abby Ohlheiser is a general assignment reporter for The Washington Post.

So let's recap the background info here. She's a glorified cashier who is cynically talking about how the clerk's office, now under her direction has a surplus. A woman who largely never had anything other than a menial gov't job, and one that she got from her mother, the former clerk of Rowan County. A politician boasting of the fiscal performance of one of the few governmental agencies that (across the board) generates huge cash flows virtually unimpeded in every semi populated area of this country. At best she's basically arguing that she isn't stupid enough to screw up a cash cow.

On top of that she's lived in the sticks her entire life, with only God's words and will to guide her. Oh, well at least for the last four years after the death bed request of one of her three former mother-in-laws. Before that she was a lost woman(? - I have no idea how the holy Kim describes the "lost" Kim) with no concern for the sanctity of marriage. But now, she's forgiven for all her past transgressions and is a hero to boot!?!

So somebody help me out here. Since Seacrest is so obsessed with the concept of her job "changing". She found Christ 4 years ago. Was she the clerk before or after that? If she was clerk before then it was her beliefs that changed, not the job description.

Is this heaven? No, it's a building on the west side.

If we were endowed by our Creator with certain rights, then He can't be the one that took those rights.

Her beliefs changed before the job description did.

No matter how you slice it, her job description changed.

Speaking of black people not being people:

the Dred Scott decision of 1857 still remains to this day the law of the land which says that black people aren’t fully human.

Quote:
Mike Huckabee: Dred Scott decision ‘is still the law of the land’ regardless of 14th Amendment

Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee argued on Wednesday that the 1857 Supreme Court ruling which declared that blacks did not have a right to be citizens was “still the law of the land” even though the 14th Amendment overturned it.

During an interview with radio host Michael Medved that was obtained by BuzzFeed, the former Arkansas governor complained that he had been “drilled by TV hosts” after claiming that Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis did not have an obligation to issue same-sex marriage licenses because the Supreme Court’s recent decision on marriage equality was not “the law of the land” until lawmakers codified it with legislation.

“Because that’s their phrase, ‘it’s the law of the land,'” Huckabee explained. “Michael, the Dred Scott decision of 1857 still remains to this day the law of the land which says that black people aren’t fully human. Does anybody still follow the Dred Scott Supreme Court decision?”

Medved reminded the candidate that the 13th Amendment had overturned slavery. And as BuzzFeed’s Christopher Massie noted, the 14th Amendment overturned the Dred Scott decision by establishing birthright citizenship.

Huckabee insisted that a constitutional amendment would not be required to overturn the same-sex marriage ruling because it was not valid in the first place.

“I don’t think that’s necessary,” the former governor opined. “Because, in the case of this decision, it goes back to what Jefferson said that if a decision is rendered that is not borne out by the will of the people either through their elected people and gone through the process, if you just say, it’s the law of the land because the court decided, then Jefferson said, ‘You now have surrendered to judicial tyranny.’”

“The Supreme Court in the same-sex marriage decision made a law and they made it up out of thin air,” he added. “Therefore, until Congress decides to codify that and give it a statute it’s really not an operative law and that’s why what Kim Davis did was operate under not only the Kentucky Constitution which was the law under which she was elected but she’s operating under the fact that there’s no statute in her state nor at the federal level that authorizes her.”
