The new 670 Bears post game show has all the makings of a terrible show. I'm a big fan of Hub, but Olin and Big Cat are just awful. I'll be flipping between 720 and 97.1.

Doesn't Danny bemoan ESPN for hiring ex-players to be on their various shows? If I remember correctly, "who cares what stupid ex-players say? They just speak in cliches and don't offer any real analysis."

Hadn't thought too much about listening before but the concept is intriuging. Two people (one with a parrot) who don't know how to play nice. One was paid handsomely for his physical aspects and didn't mind showing such, contending with one who knows he's the smarter of the two and has to prove it every conversation.

Did Olin lose the coin-flip with Big Cat to see who goes on the air with the DB?

there was a time that Olin was friendly with Bernstein. When Danny was on the beat, Olin was the captain and did a number of interviews and was DB's source.

Kinda think or feel like I did hear of some small fall out at some time.

I just assume Olin is bored and doing this gig. Which I still never understand. if I made $15 mill, I just would never work. Wake up late, go do some hot yoga with the new wives club, eat some lunch, take a nap, become a pro video gamer...? I understand guys that love the game and go coach at HS level, or college....but the guy who I think lives in Maui? coming here to do post game with Hub for this shit team? Maybe he dropped a few mill on a bad deal?

I dont doubt he misses being part of something. The guy was a leader and captain for a long time, it just might be a way to get back in...need to start somwhere just to get exposure.

I will guess Big Cat isnt going to get it done. He has been doing games for awhile now, and hasnt really caught anyones attention. Fact is, if he didnt play in the NFL, he isnt doing any games anywhere.

I agree with that in general. Im not exactly waiting to see what pearls that Olin fucking Kreutz is going to drop. If Bernstein feels that way thats fine, but why have him on the show at all then?

Wait, Olin Krutz is gonna fly Maui to Chicago on the weekends just to do a stupid Bears post game show? The round trip flight has to cost more than what he makes for this 3 hour show. That makes no sense at all. I thought he lived here.

Maybe Tom Thayer got him a discount on the airfare. I wouldn't want to know how, though.
