We would be 7 or 8 back without Strop. He is still the best reliever after Rondon and Grimm.

btw remember around 03-04 there was talk of a possible work stoppage? i had cubs./cards tickets on the friday that work stoppage was gonna go down if it did, and it didnt so when me and my uncle got there the ballpark was over 1/2 empty and the majority of people there were cardinals fans! seriously i guess a bunch of them take charter buses up from stl and come up to do 2-3 games over the fri-sun series, so they had nothing better to do and were for sure showing up unlike a lot of tentative cubs fans. it was weird to be at wrigley and have cardinals fans overpower the cubs fans with all of the cheering.... when the 7th inning stretch came it was ROOT ROOT ROOT FOR THE CAAAAARDINALS!!!!!! i was flabbergasted.
