I enjoyed the Holmgren interview today. It's always good when they get on an NFL coach. I understand they have connections with Holmgren and Sean Payton, but why can't they ever get Lovie Smith on? Does Lovie basically hate these guys? Does Lovie have an exclusive deal with some other radio station? BBM? I don't listen to any other station really so I'm clueless. Hopefully that's the case. It feels like we always hear more from the Bears opponents more than the actual Bears team on MJH. (Waddle and Silvy have Tillman on once a week)

Mike HomeGrown is always a good interview. You can tell he likes Jurko. So much so he cut Jurko's ass right before the Super Bowl season.

So none of you have any clue why the Bears coach is not on the show? Maybe some help from Mac, FInji, or "my guy" Danny Z.

I'd guess that your initial thought is correct WR (that he's exclusive to BBM). I don't recall Pinella doing radio other than WGN.

Piniella has been on MJH and Waddle and Silvy. The Bears team in general seems to have little representation on MJH.

It's nothing compared to my favorite. Reminds me of a high school kegger. Look at that guy's neck on the left.... veins bulging, nostrils flared and looking faucet like and of course, the technicolor yawn spewing, meanwhile the guy in the middle is saying "'scuse me while I kiss the sky...."

I just can't wait until Woodridge Ryan helps MJH score a Mike Hohensee interview.

 Done.

I find it weird no Bears fans care about this. Oh well. If I lived in Indy I'd actually want to hear from Dungy, Dallas Clark, Ryan Diem, Bob Sanders, etc. Weird. It's not really much of a complaint as to more of a mystery to me. I'm sure there are exclusive deals with WBBM. Maybe the whole team besides Peanut uses Jay Glazer now.

We'd be all over, and still are all over, Ditka. He's good radio. He's engaging.

I want to hear all sorts of things the Bears coaching staff has to say but I'd be bored to tears hearing them say it.

Ryan your team is good and full of personable people. They bears are the opposite of that.

I liked hearing what Kruetz had to say the other day but it wasn't a great interview. I'd maybe like to hear from Tillman. Urlacher? Benson? Grossman? Briggs? Lovie doesn't say anything and lies most of the time. Keep it.

They interview like they play. Like they don't care.

I wouldn't mind hearing for Angelo. I wonder what direction he's headed. Does he think we're last years Superbowl team that just needs a couple key players and to stay healthy? Or does he think we need to rebuild? What kind of moves can we expect or lack there of since we're cap heavy. What does he think of Derek Anderson? What does he think of the lack of playing time from this years draft class even though the Bears needing a serious spark at various positions.

So are there any crib notes of what happened at the remote? I heard on the radio that a table full of lovelies were sitting adjacent to Doug from Evergreen Park.

Did you get lucky Dougie?

and no.
i was more interested in the 22 year old hostess....although she didn't meet all the criteria, it was a consensus that "I'd hit it."

LOL, what pray tell is 'the criteria'? This should be interesting, and perhaps shed some light on your single-ness.

Lovie has never had an interesting thought in all the times I've heard him interviewed, I just don't think it would make for very good radio. Plus he just comes across as an asshole anyways. Our waitress was really cute in the face but could have used a couple months in the CSFMB Commitment to Mediocrity program for her lower half...

A. He does a weekly press conference, your VCR/DVR can record this for you.

B. What would one more radio station (WMVP) do for him when he's already on the air?

C. Even if he were to do MVP, what's to say he wants to take questions from the "H" part of the equation?

Um, we hadd a waitress? No shit? I couldn't find one for the life of me. I was relegated to buying pitchers of beer so I'd haveta make less trips to the bar.

Angelo does do radio interviews with the Score and ESPN radio, and does somewhat regular intereviews on the Bears pre-game show. Saying that, he's not going to answer several of the questions that you're asking about in the middle of the season.

It was actually our waitress when we sat down for dinner after you left. Side note, for dinner Doug ordered a salad. For some odd reason they served the salad on a plate on top of a cut up pita. What the hell is that all about? I've never been eating a salad thinking "I wish this was on top of a cold slice of pita".

Maybe if Doug started eating more 'man' food he'd find greater success with the females. Salad? WTF is that all about? Man up and order a damned burger or some ribs. Chicks did guys with rib sauce all over their face. They get deviant thoughts that you'd do ANYTHING to make her happy, at ANY time of the month.

Me too.

My other comment is I recall Doug trying to GAIN weight. You are not going to gain weight eating a slad. Salads for men should be reserved to business lunches. At a bar, burgers or anything greasy is the mandate.

Salad? Burrito....
