Agreed. Also Golden Country. I read where the original lead singer quit because Richrath wanted to write songs that were too "political"

I think Gary finally kicked some lifelong bad habits which may have led to the weight gain.

I don't believe REO ever had another hit after he left.

Ouch, I have fond REO memories, mostly going to the Glenview Public Library with my gram and she'd check out vinyls for me to play on her record player. The REO one with the fish head on the cover is the one I'm most reminded of........

I believe the great breakup anthem Time for Me to Fly is on that album. My high school girlfriend and I used to sing that sing ironically whilst cruising around in her parents T-bird with a moonroof. Until she unironically dumped me. It was devastating at the time.

Is generic and fluff as REO became, you cannot deny those songs are great. Correct in that REO never had a hit after Gary left the band. He was a very talented guitarist...65 is way too young
