Pearl Jam, Immortality. Its an incredible song to listen to live. Lyrics aren't completely decipherable, but memorable nonetheless.

There is no way I can pick one fave song. But if I limited myself to Pearl Jam it would be Corduroy or Black.

Yeah that is a good track as are Pitt Mikes. I honestly love Given to Fly the best and even just the instrumental demo on 20.

It was Bjork's birthday a few days ago. For her, I'd have to say "Hyper-Ballad." Arguably one of the best songs of the '90s for how it synthesized dance music and art/experimental rock.

Whenever I hear that song, I immediately think of the scene in Neighbors where Vic (Dan Aykroyd) is secretly making pasta in his kitchen.

"Driven to Tears" live by The Police as seen in "Urgh, A Music War" is by far my favorite due to Stewart Copeland's drumming. While no Neil Peart or John Bonham, he has his own voice and I love his approach. Another fun one was a Police tour from the Zenyatta tour where someone throws mud at Sting and he goes nuts...fun over the top drumming there too.

I gotta say "Synchronicity II," just a Platonic ideal of a song, you know? I think Zenyatta Mondatta is my favorite Police album, though.

EDIT:
Quote:
Copeland: In 'Wrapped Around Your Finger' there's the classic line where he goes, "things they would not teach me of in college." Sting, I just want to say, I went to college and learned all this Jungian shit. It's just Psych 101. It had no mystique for me at all.

Sting: You explain it then, Stewart.

Copeland: 'Synchronicity' is about the overall unconscious that binds us together. If I wear a red tie and you happen to wearing a red tie, it isn't a coincidence, it's because we have this bond that goes beneath the outer surface. Something we can't even measure, but it's there. And that's Psych 101.

Revolver: Sting, you want comment here?

Sting: No, no, I'm a simple man. A simple man in my huge Tuscan villa, so piss off.

 These guys.

Andy Summers wrote (imho) a really good autobiography about his whole career (Animals, Soft Machine, etc...) and The Police stuff was interesting. I like the drumming on Ghost and Zenyatta the best though.
