Got a friend who owns an establishment. When he opened he was dating, became engaged, and then they got married. On the establishment's 2nd anniversary she wanted a divorce because he spent too much time working (explaining to her the small success rate for such establishments didn't register with her).

Spiegs has been doing music and radio for a long time, so it could be that she asked him to dial back on something else. Then again, he wouldn't be the first radio host to spill a little too much of his personal/private life without concern for what others may say or think (or how it registers with their significant other when they learn 3rd party). That is until the advice of counsel tells you that it won't help the settlement talks.

Shortest marriage I can recall is when the bride invited her side-piece along on the honeymoon. She should have settled the hotel bill instead of letting him find out about all of the inter-room calls.

That's totally true and it starts at the top. Bernstein obviously knows that he has virtually no personal appeal and that his entire existence makes our society a worse place. Thus he cynically uses his kid(s) to soften the image, relate to the common man. That's why they are fair game in my opinion. Same goes for Spiegel, though to a lesser extent. Fucking Tiger Woods parades his kids around every chance he can get these days. I say tear em all apart. If Badrogue ever needs militia protection, I'll be happy to volunteer.
