Another in a long line of folks that said they were in the towers on 9/11 but actually weren't. Why the fuck would people make that shit up when it's so easy to fact check? Or at least come up with a more plausible reason why you would have been at the towers on that day (ie. you were visiting down there, rather than working in the actual buildings).

Someone must have tried to blackmail him with this information. Otherwise why in the hell come clean about it? It's been 14 years. No one cared about the story.

Little known fact, but there was actually one survivor on the planes that crashed into the towers...

Yawn. I was in the second building hit in December 2000 on the 100th floor. It was a weird feeling when I saw the planes hit the buildings because I had stood looking out over Manhattan, and it was such a unique feeling to be that high up over looking such sprawl. It felt personal even though I never worked or lived in NYC. Luckily, the people I knew (at Aon) mostly escaped because their building had been hit second.

My ex-wife worked for Aon on 9/11. She took this odd attitude of "they attacked us" as in Aon personally. She got really mad at me when I asked her if she even knew the names of the Aon people that died.

from the mind of Mark Wahlberg:

"I don't get down with jerking off, dude. Look. I don't believe in everything that the church says. I try to do the right thing. I lead a clean and pure life. I'm a married guy. I have a beautiful wife. Sex is not the most important thing to me, being horny all the time, spanking the -- I mean, it's not against the law. You can do whatever you want. And it's not like, 'I shouldn't do it because of my faith. I'm just not really that into it that much anyway."

UPDATE: Wahlberg has apologized for his 9/11 comment, releasing a statement that says: "To speculate about such a situation is ridiculous to begin with, and to suggest I would have done anything differently than the passengers on that plane was irresponsible. I deeply apologize to the families of the victims that my answer came off as insensitive, it was certainly not my intention."

PREVIOUSLY: Mark Wahlberg is one of today's biggest action movie stars, but as he sees it, his heroism doesn't end at a film's credits. Instead, he fancies himself a real badass off screen, too.

In a new interview with Men's Journal, Wahlberg says that world history would have been different had he not made a fortuitous decision to fly to Toronto a week early and thus avoid boarding one of the planes out of Boston that crashed into the World Trade Center on September 11th.

"If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn’t have went down like it did," he tells the magazine. "There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, 'OK, we’re going to land somewhere safely, don’t worry.'"

Wahlberg has spoken before of the near-miss, and the action he would have taken had he been on the flight.

"We certainly would have tried to do something to fight," he said in 2006. "I've had probably over 50 dreams about it."

[Larry notices a picture on his rabbi's desk]
Larry: Is that you?
Rabbi: That's... that's Eddie Solomon. My brother-in-law. He, ummm... he died on September 11th.
Larry: Oh my gosh. Oh, I'm so sorry.
Rabbi: Yeah. Terrible.
Larry: He was in the building?
Rabbi: No, no. He, he was... uptown on 57th Street. He got hit by a bike messenger.
Larry: Uptown?
Rabbi: Yeah, yeah. Bike messenger. Hit 'em.
Larry: [Long pause] What a shame.

Not that its OK to lie about being in the building, but you also lie about who employed you?

I would guess someone at Lynch starts thinking "hey I dont remember that guy, I wonder what divsion he worked in?"...and more looking leads to more looking...and nothing.

Kind of like my search for where Hub played his college ball. No records exist of him playing anywhere, but he implies he suited up....

It's kind of laughable even if it was ISU for his first year of school. Thinking about it more, Hub isn't really even big enough to believe he played in high school

I've been around this block twice now looking for something. A clue. Been looking for clues and something led me back here, yeah, so here I am. Could've been me who was at Ringo's place when the shit went down. Hey, I know how it is, I've been there. We've all done bad things. We've all had those guilty feelings in our hearts. You wanna take your brain out of your head and wash it and scrub it and make it clean. Well, no, but I'm gonna help you settle this. First we're gonna check for holes and see what we can find. Then, we're gonna get nice and wet, so you're gonna spread your legs. Oh, that's good, so you know me, you know my reputation. Thirteen inches is a tough load, I don't treat you gently. That's right. I'm Brock Landers. So I'm gonna be nice, and I'm gonna ask you one more time. Where the fuck is Ringo?
