Convenience to me is going to a website, finding the show or game I want, and watching it for free. Still have to pay for internet which we would be doing anyway with or without cable. Am I watching it on a 50 inch HDTV? No and I am fine with that. I'll sacrifice for the 900-1000 dollars a year we are saving with no cable. Plus, I can always run an HDMI cable to my TV.

That doesn't sound convenient at all.

There are variances in convenience, and what might be convenient for me might be less so or more so for you. But I get to come home, and I know what I can find and where I can find it. I can watch any show I want live, or wait til later. People coming over? Yes, I got the game on. Sure, we can watch that. Always in 1080p. Always without "running an HDMI cable."

$106 or whatever my total Comcast bill is per month? I'm not fretting. It is worth it.

Yea that HDMI cable is a real bitch to set up. It takes all of about 20 seconds.

We are at different stages. Our kids could give two shits about having cable and the "people coming over for a game" thing doesn't happen very often. And if it does, it happens at someone elses house which is fine with me. I love being able to lay in bed with the laptop and watch whatever I want.s

You better get cable by the time the inaugural CSFMB Peoriafest comes around.
