The format for last nights debate was terrible. Who's idea was it to use quotes one candidate said about the other as the questions?
I like letting the candidates converse & interact with each other, which is after all debate, but I would have rather heard specific questions about the issues rather than the he said & she said stuff. Also, 30 seconds is not enough time for a candidate to answer the question.

Trump is a disrespectful ass clown. I hope he goes down. Once all of the candidates under 2% get out, Trumps poll numbers should start to decline.

I don't even like Bernie, but that's why I can't take you seriously when it comes to him. You dislike him so much you'd rather vote for an ignorant, racist, mysoginistic asshole than him. Youre clearly not looking at him objectively.

Feel free to lay out your top 10 wishlist from the Dems. Then I'll cherry pick and bash a few.

Gee, I'm sorry for pointing out there is a lot of lip service coming from your guys. Say one thing, do another.

I'm on Team Bernie

1. Try to slow down climate change (as opposed to being in complete denial).
2. Overturn Citizens United.
3. A sensible immigration policy, not mass deportations and wall building.
4. Stop this ridiculous battle against gays and women (birth control, abortions, PP) There is no war on Christians.
5. Hold the banks accountable for their actions.
6. Legalize weed.
7. Diplomacy, rather than war mongering.
8. Making sure that full time workers can feed their family without gov't assistance (a.k.a. hating job creators).
9. Fight racial inequality and police brutality
10. Make education more affordable

Of course, he can't wave a magic wand and fix everything, but being aware of these problems is a good start. It's certainly a better start than living in the fantasy land where your guys reside.

I am going to play devil's advocate on your stuff as a Republican watching the Dem debate:

1. Try to slow down climate change (as opposed to being in complete denial).
You want to kill jobs by instituting more regulation and taxing businesses all in the hope of controlling a problem that even climate models can't accurately predict.
2. Overturn Citizens United.
You don't believe in free speech and the right of people to spend money as they see fit.
3. A sensible immigration policy, not mass deportations and wall building.
You support taking away low income and middle class jobs and giving them to law breakers. You say you're worried about low pay, and illegal immigrants depress the wages of natives.
4. Stop this ridiculous battle against gays and women (birth control, abortions, PP) There is no war on Christians.
Abortion is murder. It is the human rights fight of our generation. Christianity is a big part of our cultural fabric, and people are trying to cleanse our society of traditional Christian values.
5. Hold the banks accountable for their actions.
Bank are regulated more than ever. They are scared to lend and have thus derisked their portfolios. This has reduced economic growth and constrained business creation.
6. Legalize weed.
Weed is a gateway drug.
7. Diplomacy, rather than war mongering.
Projecting power is the best way to prevent war. Why would we talk to dictators and human rights violators or people that chant death to America?
8. Making sure that full time workers can feed their family without gov't assistance (a.k.a. hating job creators).
The government push to increase wages reduces employment and raises costs to consumers. Job will move overseas or be automated away.
9. Fight racial inequality and police brutality
Police have a thankless and difficult job. They are the ones that are under attack. You don't support law enforcement and the rule of law.
10. Make education more affordable
How do you propose to raise the funds to accomplish this goal? More property taxes?

Trump is beating establishment Republicans at the game they created and have been playing for years (see who can say the most outrageous things on issues that aren't really issues). I find it hilarious.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/donald-trump-says-vaccinations-are-causing-an-autism-epidemic-10505087.html

What a real, honest to goodness, dumbfuck piece of shit.

“Autism has become an epidemic. 25 years ago, 35 years ago, you look at the statistics, it’s not even close. It has gotten totally out of control,” said Mr Trump.

Couldn't possibly be something like, say, more accurate diagnoses, I'm sure.

The property developer and TV personality said he had evidence of a relationship between autism and vaccinations after seeing an employee’s child diagnosed with the disability following an adverse reaction to a vaccine.

Anecdotal evidence is best kind of evidence! That's how science works y'all !!!!

It's not just what you say, but how you say it. Trump doesn't treat anyone with respect & dignity. Making fun of Carly's face? Really? Making fun of Rand's appearance? Trump should look in the mirror.

He's a bully

GOP Promotes Carly Fiorina To Male Candidate After Strong Debate Showing

NEWS IN BRIEF
September 17, 2015
VOL 51 ISSUE 37
Politics · Gender · Women · Politicians
WASHINGTON—Saying she had proven herself to be a formidable contender worthy of respect, GOP leaders announced Thursday that Carly Fiorina had been officially promoted to a male candidate after her strong showing in last night’s primary debate. “Given her steady rise in the polls and her consistent performance on the national stage, we have determined that Ms. Fiorina’s skills as a speaker and compelling ideas about foreign and domestic policy merit her recognition as male,” said Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus, adding that the former Hewlett-Packard CEO had impressed GOP officials with her breadth of knowledge, her confidence, and her ability to doggedly attack both Democrats and her primary opponents, and therefore deserved to have the label of “female” removed entirely. “We are pleased to be able to offer Ms. Fiorina the increased respect and media coverage that come with being a male candidate. Allow me to be the first to congratulate him and say that he has certainly earned it.” Priebus added that the committee was still reviewing Marco Rubio’s performance, but was strongly considering promoting him to white.

Sure it does, but do we really want to celebrate the dumbest among us selecting our leaders? To me, the word "liberal" means open minded, willing to learn. "Conservative" just means "that's the way it's always been done". Of course white men who have always been on top are afraid when they see the number of brown and black people increasing. The fact that some of those brown and black people might even have the temerity to speak their minds is truly outrageous to many Republicans. If you turn Fox on at any given moment you have a good chance of hearing Bill O'Reilly or someone else railing about people becoming educated at university.

Are you saying that uneducated white men have "always been on top?"

That idea seems problematic.

Uneducated white men began to vote increasingly for Republicans in the 80s and 90s when the Democrats adopted a neoliberal economic agenda and thereby betrayed their blue collar constituency. Because both parties failed to serve working class economic interests, cultural politics--abortion, gay rights, affirmative action, etc--replaced economic policy as the main factor in determining political allegiance for this voting bloc.

No, the white man in general. I probably should have separated it into paragraphs.
