Bernstein read some regurgitation from the Committed Indian on air. Whomever wrote it (Troy McClure?) was quite possibly even more sanctimonious than Bernstein and should be hung, drawn and quartered and their extremities sent to the four corners of the Earth as a warning to anyone else who might think and/or write such puerile, white-knighting, head-up-their-own-ass garbage.

I'm not pro-Kane by any means but come on. It must be exhausting to be so right about everything all the time.

Julie strikes me as an angry girl that hates men. Granted, if she was raped it's justified. Actually I think all women should hate us even if they weren't raped. We suck.

But I especially think she wants nothing to do with the SCORE boys. I can tell. I hear the hosts try to engage her in conversation and she'll respond but quickly go back to reading her update. Like in a haste. Like it sickens her to talk to them. She wants nothing to do with them. Unlike drinky. Who will talk to B&B and tell bad jokes for 10 minutes during his updates.

By the way, I think drinky is officially fired from updates. Haven't heard him do one in over a month.

I heard Silvy use the word optics around 5:55 yesterday when talking about the Kane press conference. Bernstein wins again.

Podcasted this, didn't realize it was a Sox-shortened show (even less if you ignore the Billick appearance). I will say when I am interested in analysis of a press conference, B&B is still the go-to show for it!

It felt like they were trying to "punish" Kane, and just ended up embarrassing themselves.

Kane's Lawyers: You can't suspend him or fine him. He's not been arrested. He's showing up at camp and you guys can't stop him.

The presser was dumb and bad but they may have had no choice. Kane at this point may be one of those potential defendants that is doing what many have said they would do. Now I have no idea what happened but it is possible he feels so innocent that he is the one insisting no settlement to make it go away or plea agreement etc. He may be pushing the go ahead and charge me and I will actually be acquitted in a trial. If that is the case then that would drag out forever possibly not even starting until next summer. If all of that is that way it is going I do not believe the NHL or Hawks can keep him away.

I'm told one reason for the conference instead of just a statement was to force Kane to face media, as they did when angry with Crawford.
