I want to offer peace to the White Sox Subdivision. Like the dove bringing back the olive branch to the Arc, I am posting this thread to signal the end of the cross town war and to bring peace to the baseball season.

Lets enjoy the postseason in harmony and let our petty arguments drain away like the flood that drowned the earth many years ago.

There is plenty of room for you on the Cubbie train. I dedicate a special car just for you Sox fans. You can still love your team and have fun rooting for CHICAGO this post season. There is no shame in supporting your city.

I invite white sox fans to join us on this unprecedented moment in Chicago sports. The beginning of an era of baseball excellence which has not been ever seen. Get on the bandwagon now, it will only get worse if you continue your hostility. Join us and celebrate together the many victories and championships that are soon to follow.

Found this old school pic of Sox subdivision online, before they changed their name.

Big Chi, an eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind.

This is a place of peace. Kindly delete your post and ask for forgiveness.

Peace be to Theo.

Take a good look at the guy on the right.
Is this a picture of a young Frank's first band?

If I die tomorrow, I want that band playing at my funeral.

Hatchetman, you must object to violence because when it appears to do good, the good is only temporary; the evil it does is permanent.

I forgive you Hatchetman.

Peace be to Theo!

Peace is not absence of conflict, it is the ability to handle conflict by peaceful means.

The slaughter rule was called on this years Sox team. Its a bad team, thats over.

As I stated , I will fire on the front office, structure, coaches and the rest of the organization that they think have been EXCELLENT for the last 10 years and everyone else doesnt know what they are looking at.

You take one guy out of that place and the improvement starts Day 1 he is gone....at every level of the organization. This is what happens when the loyalty is given to the good soldier who was named the GM when they won a World Series. Combine that with the fact he hasnt figured out he was really fired.

I dont agree with people such as BRick that the organization is a sleeping Giant, but improvements are a no brainer at this point if you rid your organization of the former GM, current Exec VP, Senior President....if you remember, it took him about a month to give himself a title.

All that said...Pick a side

Yeah because all those people in Lakeview and Wrigleyville wearing Astros jerseys during the 2005 series were tourists from Houston.

As a Sox fan I clearly remember watching eyewitness news the evening ths Sox were playing Houston and they wanted the "cubs fan" perspective. So they went to Murphy's and everyone was wearing Houston gear and whining about how the Cubs should be the team in the Series.

Yes. It. Did.

That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.

One bar does not make an entire fan base. I was watching it rooting for a Sox victory. The following days after they won is what turned me to hate not the White Sox team, but their jealous, angry, self centered fans. Now I am willing to forget all that and strive for peace between the two teams.

Who is with me?
