Haven't thought about that much but I would think date/acquaintance type assault is not the power thing a stranger that grabs a woman violently in the street is.

If this is true, big big if, then I think McClure takes it worse than anyone. Bernstein's had it in for the Blackhawks since day one of the new regime; if he couldn't take them down with this or l'affaire Scott, he'll just try again on the next scandal (currently scheduled for next Tuesday). But old Stinkfinger runs a fucking Blackhawks blog. While that by no means forces some sort of rah-rah coverage, it makes his particular dissent-banning tenor hard to reconcile.
