The newest entry from the sick and twisted writer, Kurt Sutter from Sons of Anarchy and The Shield.

It's about a Scottish Knight in the 1400's left for dead in battle who takes up life as a simple Welsh farmer. The farmers upset with the taxation ride at night to kill the soldiers sent out by the King to collect said taxes. The King figures out the location of these bandits and rides out to their village. He discovers the men are missing and then slays all the women and children. It goes from there. You will recognize some of the same actors from SOA including Sutter's wife as the village witch.

The show is as violent as hell with some straight and gay sex thrown in for good measure. It has been added to my watch list of new shows.

Isn't she known better as Peggy Bundy rather than Sutter's wife? The previews didn't do much for me but I might check it out. Sitter has a bit of hubris and SOA suffered from it in the end.

I saw the constant ads for this while watching Tyrant. It looks boring and is, quite naturally, a shameless attempt to tap into the Game of Thrones audience. I just don't trust this guy with a series. Sutter is twice up his own ass these days. The guy seemed deranged on those Sons of Anarchy aftershows.
