Maddon has said he may choose to do this in the playoffs! With Hendricks, Hammel and Haren all struggling, Maddon said he has not ruled out going with a bullpen day in the playoffs after Arrieta and Lester. At first glance it seems crazy, because it would be so out of the ordinary. But after considering the idea, it might be their best option.

Its fine. I like that he pulls guys that dont have it. More managers should do it and not worry and the SP's "Feelings". if you dont have it that day, you dont have it. Plan B or C.

It doesnt sound like Brain Science or Rocket Surgery! But most managers dont do it...they leave guys in until the last possible chance.
