Hats off to Maddon and this team. It is a great year on the North Side. I hope they go deep in the playoffs.

I am sincerely happy for all of you True Blue Cubbie Diehards.

Salute! :salut:

Nothing wrong with that, yet seeing a team first employ a guy who had no business managing a team and then refusing to fire him because he is a good guy....just couldnt support that thinking in anyway.

Honestly, if my boss brought a snow leopard and a bunch of penguins into work I would think it was pretty fucking cool.

All Renteria could come up with was hug a wetback day. No wonder he's gone.

I couldn't agree more. I don't see any way it makes sense to bring Ventura back next season. I really hope we can right this mess in the offseason. Anyway, that's for another thread. You guys enjoy your W tonight.

The pressure of a pennant race and all the added stress that goes with the tremendous attention.....if this helps alleviate some of the pressure and helps players to relax, great!

I can list 1,000 different zoo animals I would rather work with for a day than some of my co-workers.

Appears like a cool event to knock off some off the monotony of the season.

Yeah, that monotony of September during a playoff run.

I didn't realize So it's like "family day" for any other company.
Sox fans are gonna have a hard time spinning this one.......

Family day on a weekday in September. Cubs management wants to keep their fans uneducated.

Sold a house to a family from France. The kids saw the squirrels and went chasing them to grab them.....now, I have no idea that they do or dont have Squirrels in France? but I had to warn them to stop....as I would just guess that would not have turned out well.

I love the Cubs but copying the White Sox idea of letting animals on the field is weak.
