I want to play the Cardinals. I want the best players to play every single night they are able to. I want the Cubs to give themselves the best chance to win every single game.

Arrieta starts the Wild Card game. Worry about the second game in the playoffs once the Cubs are in the second game in the playoffs.

This is really simple stuff.

Got to do whatever you've got to do to get past the WC game, then worry about the series after that.

Remember Lou saving Zambrano?

I was thinking of that very same thing. Don't plan too far ahead. Gotta win the wildcard first, so it is the biggest priority.
