'The Air I Breathe' by the Hollies. Not that I particularly like the band, but something about that song is infinitely repeatable for me.

"Take a Walk on the Wild Side" (Lou Reed) ... oustanding repeatable vamp ... I keep hoping they unearth some heretofore unknown 20+ minute jam they did in the studio because they just felt like it.

Now, since we're here ... speaking of a song being repeatable, here's a nifty little link:

http://labs.echonest.com/Uploader/loader.html

Upload an mp3 ... it will examine it and find places in the song where it can jump around to randomly for as long as you want it to. and has a nice graphical representation of where it finds the (hopefully) right places to hop from and to. Might be great; might be God-awful. One song that works really well is "Hey Nineteen" by Steely Dan ... http://labs.echonest.com/Uploader/index.html?trid=TRCNIZA14AA44F0A13

There are probably a number of songs from this band I could choose but I always dig this one when it comes on.

i remember way back in.... 99? when plaid's LP "rest proof clockwork" came out i scooped it up at the tower records in the mecca, and as i left the store listening to it i found out it was a two track album..... "little people" and the magnanimous "dang spot"

dang spot specifically kicked my ass so much i literally spent the rest of the day just playing it on repeat 1 over and over again only occasionally going back to little people for a changeup and then back to dang spot.

obviously i've had songs that have kicked my ass since then and gotten a lot of repeat 1 play (shit around 2004 i used to jam out to squarepusher's "tetra sync" after work when i'd be sitting at burger king or something waiting for a ride out within an hour or so, knowing that with a ~8-9min song all i had to do was listen to it like 6-7 times and then i'd finally get the fuck out of dodge) but i think dang spot still holds the record for the most imminently repeat-1-able song that i've ever encountered, cuz i remember str8up apologizing to my friends like "sorry this has gotta be annoying but this song is kicking my ass all over the place"

best part = nowadays i'd say that little people is prolly the objectively better song than dang spot.... c'est la vie.

Maybe it's just because I've happened to hear this song a lot lately and haven't gotten sick of it.

I would have said wdelaney72 + Hub = MATCH, but then I remembered Hub insists the song is called "Teenage Wasteland."

I came across this song recently (though it's a few years old) and it's been on repeat:

Years ago, I tried to set one of my apprentices straight regarding the title of that song. He would have none of it. He also thought that Jimi Hendrix wrote All Along the Watchtower.

Then, um, I'm pretty sure you've never heard of liner notes, or radio backselling? You know, when the DJ tells you the names of all the songs in the 7:00 Rock Block? Because we just heard Bob Stroud do it 20 minute ago.

What I want, I think what we all want, is for you to acknowledge that the song is not called Teenage Wasteland. Is that too much to ask? or are you so busy looking for proof that Jimi Hendrix wrote All Along the Watchtower that you've lost the ability to grasp a minor correction?
