Wait... for which team?

Bears, duh. Fox is awesome

Yes, indeed. Any replacement level HC would have gotten more production out of Eddie Royal and Josh Bellamy than Fox did. This potent Bears offense is being underutilized by a coach clearly in over his head.

Which punt was your favorite?

Can't be worse.

Same suckage but with the additional horror of Bible class between periods.

You need a spiritual leader for this offense.

I don't know why I'm even here discussing this game with you guys, but fuck it, here goes.

There's a dozen or so players that are trending toward bad that are going to be on the roster next year. They are all Pace/Fox players. No Emery/Trestman-era players will be here in 2017.

Pace brought in a bunch of UDFAs, some of which made the roster over guys like Mason Foster & Dante Rosario (both probable upgrades at LB & ST, but Timu shows promise-ish) and took 1-year flyers on a variety of scrap-heap nobodies. He has assembled this team to lose and challenge his coaching staff to, over the course of 16 games, take a bunch of extremely raw rookies & out-of-scheme veterans and

1. Have them play 4 quarters
2. Have them show improvement over the season

So far Step 1 has shown they're about up to playing 2.5 quarters. Second halves are a house of horrors. Step Two obviously we're not 1/4th of the way through.

Either way, watching these games is no longer even fun-bad. At least last season we could all look forward to them burning things down at the end of the season. Now all I want is the season to end because I don't give a shit about any of these guys because 90% of them won't be on the roster next year or the year after.

Pissed Off Bear Fan Leaves Jersey at Seahawks Game...

http://sportsmockery.com/2015/09/pissed ... awks-game/

Chicago Bears fans witnessed a boring ass football game on Sunday that was equivalent to watching paint dry on a wall. With just 17 pass attempts from Jimmy Clausen, fans watched Matt Forte carry the ball 20 times for a 3.7 yard average. Chicago lost 26-0, needless to say this isn’t a “victory Monday.”

On the heels of the loss, one Chicago fan has simply had enough. Somebody at the game took a picture of the seat next to him which was vacated by the Bears fan previously occupying it, and he left his jersey behind.

At Seahawks game, Bears fan sitting next to me just took his jersey off and left. Lol… pic.twitter.com/iy838L7KRk

Maybe he was disgusted with the loss? Maybe he realized it was time to move on from his Erik Kramer jersey ….? Or, just maybe … he was one of the fans calling for David Fales this week.

Serious question, since Clausen's career record is 1-10, why does he have an NFL job at all?

— Roger C (@LoRyder) September 27, 2015

The current #12 on the Bears, Fales was a sixth round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft and has been a prominent member of the practice squad ever since. Most fans had already made up their mind about Clausen, before Sunday’s game, and thought Fales would be the better choice.

If Cutler is somehow out next weekend, the coaching staff would be smart to start Davis Fales. Jimmy Clausen has no business out there.

— Aaron Leming (@AaronLemingNFL) September 27, 2015

Clausen led the Bears to ZERO points.

Safe to say he was pretty ineffective.

8. If Jimmy Clausen does not improve next week (tough assignment in Seattle), give David Fales a shot against Oakland.

— Dan Pompei (@danpompei) September 21, 2015

If Pompei is right, that fan might want his Fales jersey back for next week.

Bear down.

I wouldn't past a person who thought Jimmy Clausen had a chance against Seattle to forget to dress himself from time to time.

If Cutler is out for any extended period of time, the punter has a chance to eclipse Bob Parsons' record for punts in a season (114) on the 1981 team.

What is Vince Evans up to these days?

Wait a minute? Did Spiegs just say 10 punts in one game has never happened in the NFL?

I thought no one had punted on their first 10 possessions in a game before, but I'm not 100% sure.

The stat that I saw was that no team had punted in every single possession in 35 years (as far back as those records go, I assume).

Sure, 10 possessions without a TO probably hasn't happened in decades for the Bears either.
