I didn't get to watch any of it this weekend but glad he won and there should be no question about player of the year.

Certainly, a case can be made for Jason Day.

For 2nd yes, but it is pretty clear it has to be Speith. 5 wins, 2 Majors, the tour championsip and the Fedex Cup.

If Spieth doesn't win this week, Day was the PoY. That's how close it was.

I don't know if that is true either, his Majors record this year was pretty spectacular.

In Day's last nine tournaments, he finished:

T9
T4
1
T12
1
1
T12
1
T10

Those include three majors, the WGC Bridgestone, and the FedEx playoffs. You are selling him short.

Don't know if it was the Player of the last 9 tournaments though. He had a great year, I am just of the opinion that winning 2 Majors is really big.

He had four Top 5 finishes, including a win, other than the stats I listed. I have no issue with Spieth winning it, but this was Day's to lose coming into this week. To suggest that Day isn't even in the discussion is false. It was Spieth, Day, and everybody else.
