Even as irrational mother... they want us to believe the daughter never saw the bag from the point it was dropped off at the house until it was presented. If she saw the bag, she should have known that wasn't what was used for the kit at the Dr's office.

Crazy doesn't fall far from the tree, the accuser is as bad as the mom.

A rape kit bag does not exist, so anyone who saw the rape kit would have no idea if it was used with it or not.

As I said though, if you want to think that the daughter was working with her mother on this go ahead. The accusers side lost the expectation of credibility with this stunt.

here's what I don't understand, and I have tried to not form opinions on this case. If the girl was present when the rape kit was performed, wouldn't you think she would know the contents? Why wouldn't she have told her lawyer, "I don't think that bag was a part of the rape kit". I assume the lawyer consulted her before he went public...isn't it fair to assume she green lighted the press conference and knew the bag was not legit?

I doubt when you are getting a rape kit done that you are paying huge attention to whether it was placed in a bag or not afterwards.

The lawyer looks really stupid though for not knowing that the rape kit doesn't go into a bag at all. Don't these guys have experts they can call and ask a very basic question like that?

I would imagine having a rape kit done is a very big deal. The timeline shows she had gone home and changed and theoretically collected herself. You would think she WOULD notice the contents and the packaging. I guess we disagree.

At this point I don't think there's any way the daughter didn't know what her mom was doing. She went to the hospital and was present when the nurse gave that bag to her mom. That bag has been in her house for over a month, at some point I'm sure she took her shirt out of it since it wasn't relevant to the case. Even if the daughter hadn't seen the bag in a few weeks, she had to recognize it when it was paraded in front of the media during the news conference. I would also bet that the attorney at least asked his client if she had seen the bag before he had the presser.
