So for 13 years, people just keep going out and buying Brady jerseys?

not sure you are aware, but he won a Super Bowl before.

Even if the crazy Home, Away, Throwback theory was in play, I think that has been covered in the previous 13 years? or is just a bunch of guys getting fatter and needing a new XXXXL?

What exactly is your point?

Do you really find it shocking that an aging athlete would remain popular given that he is the top player on the reigning Superbowl champion and is also universally regarded as one of the best quarterbacks of all time?

If so, I find your surprise...surprising.

Are you also under the impression that Michael Jordan became less popular as he won his 4th, 5th, and 6th championships?

That's a rhetorical question by the way--although I'm sure you will go ahead and continue to prattle on in your condescending if inimitably incoherent style.

After all the impressive insults, the best shot you can do is 'Reinsdorf"?

Guess you didnt have time to re-write that one a few times.

Why can't your dumbass just accept that Brady's jersey sales are inexplicably proportionate to his popularity?

Even though I thought it was because this was the year all the guy in Boston saved up to buy the $300 Jersey.

I'm not sure what bigfan is trying to say here, but plenty of older players have top jersey sales. Right now, Jason Witten is seventh.

Well i was just impressed his jersey sale was #1 for being in the league so long with the same team and the same jersey, you might think odell or russ, would be bigger in sales.

Tall Midget has given the many Douches in Boston as the sole reason Mr. Brady Occupies the spot.

Chus has stated its due to the various different jerseys (Road, Home, Throwback)

Vegan claims it is "Inexplicable"

I was just impressed that over such a long time he beat out the flashy rooks, such a Odell in NY. Would assume very few had Beckham jerseys.

Then again, just another case of me saying 'hey, it's nice out and finding 3 people that want to argue it with me."

Point has been made.

According to CNN, 76% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. If you think my point is crazy, then perhaps you are not nearly as in touch with how the middle class lives, as you may think.

...So...they are saving up for Tom Brady jerseys and Tall Midget is not correct then?

I'm not going to speak for Tall Midget.

I just offered up an opinion, one with which you clearly disagree. It's cool. Let's move on.

I would think the mindset would be that if you are going to plunk down $200 for a jersey, you're going to try to pick somebody who doesn't suck so you won't have to be wearing said super-expensive jersey ironically for a decade.

I chose Red Grange's Bears #77. Still enjoying it.

The only jersey I own is a Bobby Jenks jersey I got for free winning a MJH contest.

It was a great choice.

So, then coming into the new decade the Brady ALS re-upped for new gear, per Dr Ken.

We have a new theory that doesnt agree with CHUS then.

Laurence said that grown men shouldn't wear jerseys. So I passed on the Bobby Douglas model.

I'm guessing that there are new fans growing up every year, old jerseys hitting the scrap heap, etc.

If Dr. Ken Jr. I was a football fan, he'd be burning through 3 jerseys a season because he grows exactly like a weed. I suspect other children grow as well and in a similar fashion.

I suspect the jersey market, like most markets, is dynamic and evolving.

So the YUTE of America is why Brady is #1 in Jersey sales, making Tall Midget and CHUS incorrect in saying the Douches of boston have made this a fact, financed or otherwise.

Gotcha.

The Douches of Boston is my 2nd favorite Warren Zevon song.

I assume the DoBs have kids, too, and that they also buy jerseys.

Do you have stock in Rodgers jerseys or something?

Huh? This doesn't even make sense.

Are you claiming that New England/Boston is disproportionately poor compared to the rest of the country? LOL!

No, I was simply indicating that Brady jerseys are ubiquitous in Boston specifically and the New England region more broadly. Given the size of Brady's following in New England alone, his top spot in the jersey wars isn't all that surprising.

As the biggest winner in the history of the nation's most popular sport, Brady also has achieved significant popularity outside of New England. No one else in the NFL currently approaches his star power.

Consequently, I find the fact that you are mystified by Brady's brisk jersey sales mystifying.

So we have...

Tall Midget is saying the many Douches in Boston are the reason
CHUS is with the need for the Road, Home and Throwbacks, but they cant afford them annually, so this was the purchase year.
Vegan has it is "inexplicable"
Dr Ken pinning it on the many offspring of the Douches.
Pittmike, calling for the female market as the maintened dominance!

Solid!

Favre's jersey was the leading seller well into his last years I believe, even in Minnesota.
