I have no answer.

Trump is an asswipe and would make a bad President. If elected, he will serve the interests of one person...Donald Trump.

The problem I have is Hillary, Jeb, and all the other clowns running will not be any better. They will be a continuation of the same poison that's killing our Nation and our economy.

This election is fucked.

You could argue that maybe Bill is just holding Bernie to a higher (lol maher) standard, or that Bill is so naturally behind Bernie that he doesn't want to be seen as a cheerleader, but what it really seems to be is that he's a Hillary supporter, and he's a Hillary supporter because he's so against Trump and the rest of the Republicans that he doesn't want to back anyone but the surest thing. Yeah, he's had Bernie on the show, and he practically implored Elizabeth Warren to run for president, but when the chips are down, all he really cares about is making sure Trump/a Republican doesn't win, and for that reason, he supports Hillary. For a guy who dreams of a world with no religion and legal weed, it's pretty fucking cynical.

Bill Maher’s political leanings are well-known. But he does have both liberals and conservatives on his show. For instance, in the past month, Republican presidential candidates Rick Santorum and George Pataki have appeared on his show. If Bill Maher explicitly supported one of the current Democratic candidates, do you think Santorum and Pataki would have been as willing to go on his show?

The President doesn't do shit.

Just a ceremonial position.

I would say that there has been a pretty overt move to consolidate power in the Executive Branch over the past few decades.

I said I would not vote for him but against Hillary I might but likely not vote at all.

Sure. Why wouldn't they? It's not as if they're going to win him over. Whether he explicitly endorses Hillary the way he did Obama or just makes it known that he's not betting big on Bernie, Republicans get the same bona fides for giving it their best in a hostile environment.

Do I support Trump? Nah, but I like the spectacle he is creating and how uncomfortable he makes people.

To be fair, your vote means nothing if you live in about 45 of the 50 states due to the electoral college and gerrymandered districts.

If you live in Ohio or Florida, then your vote might count.

Voting citizens of Illinois really have no vote...it's irrelevant.

Spaulding...I know many that don't vote and I don't blame you.

I think the people most paranoid about Trump are the elites in the party he's co-opted to boost his personal brand.

If only there were elections for things other than the US President... It's literally pitiful not to vote.

I find it very amusing how everyone "likes" Trump and what he is doing but most are too embarrassed to admit they would vote for him.

Not voting for him, but I like how candidly he admits to exploiting access to politicians for private gain as a businessman. That sort of public admission from a high-profile figure during several televised events in prime time should be pushing the whole money in politics debate forward, though I'm not sure that's happened, or at least not sure that's happened to the extent that it should.

A former co-worker once said in a haughty tone, as though she thought she were impressing the rest of us "I only vote in Presidential elections."

They're two different things. You can say it's refreshing/entertaining/compelling that he's running in the fashion that he is without wanting to vote for him.

Trump sucks, he isn't compelling, and I don't like what he is doing but I'm voting for him.

Think of many jobs he will create by rounding up illegals, and building a two thousand mile long wall. He will be terrific, because he is smaht.

It would be fun to watch the beautiful future first lady and his adorable little future first son work their down home charms on the redneck base.

I wouldn't say manly so much as she had some bad work done.
