If that's his wife in the picture above you are blind.

That face is a bit manly.

Bad nose job but I would in a heartbeat.

Not voting for him, but I like how candidly he admits to exploiting access to politicians for private gain as a businessman. That sort of public admission from a high-profile figure during several televised events in prime time should be pushing the whole money in politics debate forward, though I'm not sure that's happened, or at least not sure that's happened to the extent that it should.

It's cool that he is acting as a bit of a whistle-blower. Its frankly disingenuous, however; for anyone to think that the guy who routinely brags about his exploitation of the system, will somehow be the person leading the charge in its reformation.

Saw a bit of his 60 Minutes interview. He is nothing if not entertaining.

I guess that eliminates 99% of politicians too.

You're right it does. It's hard to make the argument that Trump is some sort of outsider though.

They're two different things. You can say it's refreshing/entertaining/compelling that he's running in the fashion that he is without wanting to vote for him.

I get it's two different things for some people. I don't think it is for the conservatives here saying it.

He's be a perfect candidate if he wasn't such an assbag.

No ties to other politicians and no need to worry about his post-Presidency speaking engagements which turn almost all Presidents into multi-millionaires.

But, unfortunately he sucks and has lots of bad ideas, and a couple good ones.

He would have more appeal that's for sure. The problem with Trump as a message carrier is that he has little in the way of credibility. He lobbies and implements bankruptcy laws whenever it's convenient. He also has been a chief beneficiary of corporate welfare. He expects and receives subsidization on many of his investment projects. It's hard to see how he would change the system. As a symbol and poster child of said system he works just fine.

Just to be clear I don't think he's acting as whistle blower or anything like that. I'm sure his remarks on access to politicians and business interests are more casual than some sort of expression of moral outrage. I'm just saying it's nice that he brought it up.

Here is a major difference between Trump and the guy in office now. Trump listens to his advisers, where as POTUS thinks he is always the smartest guy in the room and acts like it.

You how you can tell he does? by the fact he knows how to cut and run from a loss and come back and negotiate an even better deal in the future. Fucking Obama can't win for losing, now he has the Russians playing merry hell in Syria bombing the rebels we where supposedly training and helping. Plus, they are working with the Israelis. Think about that for a second.Look at the downward spiral he has been presiding over in just the past six months. The Russians only gave us 1 hour before they starting going to town? Think they would have done that to Bush or even Clinton?

So no comments on what Rep Gutierrez did today? I personally think the guy should be at least be impeached if not down right brought up on treason charges

Wow another win for the POTUS! Russia is now bringing in Iranian troops to help them fight in Syria. That is a win for us ,isn't it?

I know some guys that are in lower-middle management in Minnesota state government, and have been state employees for 20+ years. They told me that Jesse Ventura was the only governor who ever came over within the first week and just started talking to whichever employees happened to walk past him, thanking them and asking about what they do.

Unfortunately, the Ventura administration was a bit of a disaster to many people because nobody in either party wanted to ever support him.

I suspect that a Trump administration would be similar, but with higher stakes, foreign policy and military implications, and more media frenzy.

For the other "outsiders," I don't know why the hell Ben Carson is running, and Carly is clearly running to be somebody's VP candidate.

BTW if you want to stay on topic in a thread for once in your life, this is about the exact opposite of what is true.
