I've heard Mitch described as a nervous, scared boss. I've heard Mitch on the air. He strikes me as a guy that Bernstien would describe as a Meatball. He got a Chicago accent. STRIKE 1. he's fat. STRIKE 2. Bernstein hates these types so Mitch must know that Bernstein hates him.

Here's the question. With this Kane shit, does Mitch even have a conversation with Bernstein about the way he directs this thing for the station? I don't think so. Which i find amazing. Anybody have the scoop on this?

Does Mitch Rosen at least talk to B&B about what they do? I mean he is the boss in title, at least. Just simple questions about their agenda. You would think a boss would do so. I don't think he says a word.

I know I have brought this up in the past, but this is more significant. I might have mention it for Penn State and other shit. Mitch could get away with being a passive, scared boss for that I guess. This is local. This Kane thing might bring down the station. Mitch should crawl out from under his desk. He won't.

But don't you think the fat people at the SCORE, while they know Dan is a host looking to entertain, hate the fact that Dan makes fun of fat people. We know Spiegel hates it. Gotta believe Mitch does as well. But he can't say anything. Cuz he's scared that Bernstein would make fun of him more. Which basically means that Mitch knows he really works for Bernstein.

Does Dan still make fun of others' fat children? That would be particularly weird at this point.

It was right about when I reduced my listening frm 50% down to 5%, was when Bernstein would insult and ridicule fat people and he cant understand why they are so fat. He would pick on famous fat people and usually discuss this during the tranny. finally Spiegel called him on it, Spiegel mentioned the fact they are on the same team and should support each other. Bernstein didnt agree.

However, Bernstein is a pussy. So while confronted about it he says no, like a kid would, I believe he has stopped mocking fat people when really meaning Spiegel.

I still think he probably goes after the army of fat kids waddling through Walmart, as thats more of a socioeconomic thing....of serving kids Doritos, Pop Tarts and Lil Ceasars as a daily diet.

Just want to add that I told Mitch I am not a fan of the NEW style that bernstein went with. Mitch told me the ratings are there, I said I didnt think it is a long term play as even the fools will figure it out....and the Score has a baseline number of listeners just being the Score...no matter who is on the air....

The funny thing about Bernsie and his style is that he is a chameleon. If Mitch or someone seriously talked to him and said numbers down etc. we are considering not renewing or similar he would evolve again in a heartbeat. He is fake and will do whatever the man says to keep getting paid.

the guy loves his job and Zimmerman knows it. I dont Bernstein is going anywhere, however, that doesnt mean he stays in the timeslot.

As long as Zimmerman makes him offers in the ballpark, he stays. Would be fine if he left though...felt that something else would be better for him, like WLS.

I always thought this would be Mitch's belief. I have long held that, while they are beating the competition, Score drive time is an underperforming asset. They aren't the most listened to show on the station. They don't have coattails that keep listeners tuned in before or after the leave. They don't outperform the listener numbers from the rest of the station.

They jump over the low bar set before them. When they had real competition, they were a distant second.
