Birth control treats many medical conditions. It also requires a prescription which would indicate that it is a medical treatment.

The irony that the Pope met with Kim Davis the day that you posted this to be a smart ass is too rich not to comment on.
It was a serious question.

You don't even believe that statement.

WYC, Thursday at 5:00.

Kim Davis could probably fill the Pope in on some things. She seems like she has a direct connection.

It's amazing who God chooses to have one on ones with.
The Pope, Russell Wilson, Seacrest, Kim Davis and George Bush when it's time to go to war.

Sure you were serious Brick.

That toilet sound was the remnants of your credibility on the subject getting flushed away.

Sure I do.

I obviously didn't think he would do it but I think his actions speak loudly here.

She's been Pope approved. She is now riding shotgun with him on the gay marriage hating train.

You'll likely never see him even though you're a lifelong Catholic. Instead he has a private meeting with a bigot that's just looking to cash in.

From what I just read in USA Today it was hardly a private meeting. They made it sound like some quick thing for a lot of people like a book signing to me anyway. Vatican stated very clearly the visit does not endorse her situation From what I have heard for the past year or so hasn't this guy met with all sorts of diverse people even when it is contradictory to Catholicism and has been open and welcoming? I thought he was talking about the church being more open to gays and communion and so on even if against marriage ceremonies in the church? The thing confuses me as the seemed to really be all in on this pope.

Supposedly this was orchestrated by the Vatican though who asked her to be there. They didn't just show up.

It's a very passive aggressive thing for the Pope to do. I'll meet with you and give you credibility but I want it to be done in secret so we can deny but not deny what it actually means.

The bottom line is that this Pope is no different than any of the past ones, which is fine, but this whole PR campaign about a new vision for the Catholic church is proving to be nothing but white smoke and mirrors.

Maybe it was in a utility closet in Green Bay...The Pope, Kim Davis and a super secret loud voice in the room, that once the meeting was over called Bernstein so he could talk about it on the air??

could happen

I guess it doesn't really matter as the Kentucky boob will go away and Catholics will believe what they want.

God is distancing himself/herself from Kim Davis!

Quote:
The Pope did not enter into the details of the situation of Mrs. Davis and his meeting with her should not be considered a form of support of her position in all of its particular and complex aspects.

Ehh, I still think he's done some good things. This was a bad move, though.

If you were waiting for an actual Pope to endorse gay marriage, it's never going to happen.

Has she cashed in yet?

I actually credit Pope Frank for meeting with her...seems like a genuinely good person...a little less creepy than the previous guy.

I get all my Kim Davis and Fox News info right here.

I figured someone would have posted it if she already cashed in.

I don't but I at least thought he was smart enough not to give this 4 year Catholic bigot any credibility.

You're being naive if you think she isn't trying to cash in on her bigotry.
