I'd imagine these three things aren't helping Pappy's morning ratings either:

A) The re-appearance of Brandmeier
B) A quality show on ESPN1000 from 9-10 (actually until noon, but only against MNMS for the last hour)
C) The re-appearance of Steve Dull

Mike and Mike have hammered this show all but one ratings period as well so I think a lot of sports fans simply prefer that show as well.

I imagine there is one main thing that hurt his ratings--His show is awful and getting worse. People may tune in for a little bit, but they tune out very quickly after hearing his moronic bits and ramblings. There really is no saving this disaster anymore and I think he knows it.

I am just waiting for Rock to come here and tell us that the show is right were they want it and how everything is great.

The awful part is....what else is there to listen to on Chicago morning radio? Sure North is bad enough to make your ears bleed...but who else is there? Steve Dahl? Brandmeier? That screechy gay fellow on Kiss FM?
It's a sad state of affairs when I have to turn my radio off because silence is less boring than the crap currently on the air.

Get satellite radio. Problem solved.

Well, based on my "winning" percentage in Donspiracy's wager contest, I would think most of you would want me to pick This Thread as dying before the MNMS . It would then be hasta la vista to the MNMS .

With this section's days numbered I found some posts here interesting.
I will miss the MNMS forum, where we could all vent at Mikey and where we would all eventually be accused of being someone we're not.
Keeping Score must be suicidal at this point. Has anyone checked on him? I know he still offeres ridiculous trades so he's still alive, at least he was prior to the all star break.
