Agreed..But I've seen REAL depression from my friends wife..she didn't leave her couch or bedroom. I thought she was dying of some illness..she wasn't strapping on body armor n taking 4 guns to a public place to kill strangers.

Well, I'm sure your wife's experience holds true for every mentally ill person in the world.

Many depressed people from what I learned are in fact more likely to be down and pretty docile. When they shoot it is normally themselves. I do not think many crazy shooters are simply depressed or only depressed. Some other mental issue is what makes them mass kill I would imagine. Yet it is always depression the masses jump to after these incidents.

The mania part of manic depression would something to consider

Has it been established that the shooter was clinically depressed? As in he was actually diagnosed by a physician/Psych and put through the necessary inventories?

True. I was not considering that but that from what I have seen makes people very active and other things but not psychotic. We need Cory.

I doubt that but the word depression is all over this thread was my point to make a post.

The good ones die while the evil, backstabbing cheat will live on forever.

Bobby Heenan warned us years ago.

Don't trust Hogan.
