Martz was the offensive version of Lovie, with slightly more success. They are all asses in their own way and stubborn goofs.

Not necessarily...it's tough to measure the effectiveness of their systems when the QB implementing those systems could go off message. That's not to say the systems would have worked without Cutler, but it is to say Cutler's been as much of a problem as anything else on offense has been.

I am not discounting the fact that Cutler has been a problem. No way around that.

But I think there is plenty of evidence to show that Tice, Trestman, and Kromer are morons. Martz has the greatest show on turf to hang his hat on, but when you take away all those HOFers from his arsenal, suddenly he appears pretty moronic as well.

Yeah you do. They had good systems. If they were given the right horses they killed. They were gimmicky.They could never adapt.

Mike Martz orchestrated the greatest show on turf. Lovie was the last respectable head coach in Chicago. I think you have some points to work with. But you should make them.
