Because the travel is more difficult for home games. It's 3.5 to 4 hours of driving every game. Back and forth to Indiana.

On the road it's just a bus ride to and from the hotel. And he gets to get away from the wife.

well i think the overall point was that the 49ers shit the bed cuz harbaugh might have been crazy and technically overrated, but he had quality coordinators there (moreso fangio than gase) and they ran them out the door to reward the good soldier tomasula and now if you've seen any 49ers football this year holy shit they're bad.... kaepertwink isn't a NFL quarterback, and the defense isnt as good without fangio and they're just a pathetic team this year while with the bears even in week 1 i was like "whoa, they have a real coaching staff now. i hope pace can be decent"
