Trust me you thought this year was hard to deal with being a Cubs hater....it's going to get much much worse for you.

I'm honestly at the point where I feel a large % of Sox fans or people that wear Sox gear might as well have gear that says "I hate the Cubs".
That truly is the identity of the fan base.

The Raiders fan base is somewhat similar but in a different way.
Not worth explaining if you don't get it.

I agree that Maddon is an excellent manager. Who am I to ask for tangible proof of something when I go and plunk my ass in a pew for 52+ hours each year? He being of Polish heritage only adds to my appreciation of him.

Without doubt. But his tactics work perfectly for a team in the situation it was in this season. His mentality worked perfectly for the collection of players he had to work with in 2015. Now... the real interesting thing will be if he adapts to the changes in his players over the next several or if he does not. I suspect he will. When the players no longer need his antics (read: weird ass things he does to keep them loose), will he no longer do those things? I suspect that will be the case.
