If what you say is true, and a doctor did not recommend the younger brother to get the vaccinations, you should hate the anti-vaxxers more than anyone.

Unsubstantiated cocktail party talk rather than actual science is really dangerous for your unvaccinated child.

This is probably the best post in this thread. Parents of children with legitimate issues with vaccines should be furious at all the dopes out there. Your child is being put in danger due to others stupidity.

Actually, not a well thought out post at all.

How would we know who these "other" people are unless they told everyone?

They should have to wear a scarlet letter.

I have no doubt that Brick would be first in line to advocate that.

I think it is actually a fair compromise to the vaccine issue. They shouldn't be mandatory, but if you choose to opt out, people should have a right to know.

Parents are given the information that there are children in their kids class that have not been vaccinated.

Chances are they're bad parents, thus their kids aren't vaccinated.

Then I should have access to your health history as well.

Not in any district that I know of. That would be a violation of HIPPA.

The district can post the number of kids in the district that are enrolled that are not vaccinated in the whole district, but nothing is required about specific school, grade level, classroom, etc.

In the event of an "outbreak", it can be easily figured out who is non-vaccinated because all non-vax are required to be held out of school for 21 days, where as others would be held out for only 5 days. But I suppose at that point it wouldn't matter.

Many are proud to tell you.

Still though, it doesn't really matter. You should be angry at those who are willing to admit it and to those who are too cowardly to admit it.

The point is that if your child was told by a doctor that they should not be vaccinated then you should be even more furious than a parent of a vaccinated child who would then only have to worry about being one of the unfortunate ones where the vaccine doesn't provide complete protection.

The parent who stops vaccinating because Becky at a party told her that she shouldn't make it much more likely that your kid will get something they shouldn't.

They are told they are in the class in the two private schools are son as attended.

They were not told who they are.

They are required to be held out of school for 21 days.

No, I shouldn't take the time out of my schedule to be possibly angry at people I'm not even aware of.

But you'll take time out to have probably 40 posts in this thread?

No, here is what I'm left with.

I'm finding your story unlikely that a doctor told you that your second kid should not be vaccinated. Someone who has an actual medical reason why their kid shouldn't would not be against vaccines. I think it is a convenient excuse for you to say it because you should want everyone to have it. I'm also not so sure that vaccine allergies have been found to be genetic.

I don't doubt there may have been some sort of adverse reaction to a shot with your first kid. That can happen and we know it. I just doubt everything else. I also believe this because you openly advocate that the "future of medicine in the next 50 years" includes the treatments of a doctor who claims that you can beat cancer by "deep breathing".

How you are talking is fairly common with many of the people that buy into the myth of chiropractors as primary medical caregivers. You are hitting on many of the same unsubstantiated talking points that for profit chiropractors use to sell books and sell treatments with little to no proof of effectiveness.

So that is what I am left with.

We were not even asked about it in the public school.

We turned in our form and it never came up again.

National Report is also satire. Unfortunately, it's a believable headline.

That's what is so sad about her, and the goofballs that have hijacked the Republican party. Rand Paul did say that vaccines cause mental disorders.

It's from a satirical website, but who could tell the difference?
