When Baldy was an intern.

What a bizarre thing to ask of anybody, let alone an intern at your work place.

Goff was telling the story. Something like, "I was producing B&B and the girl called me and said you better be ready to go when you get home." So Goff sent Baldy out right after he got the call. Yeah, because the 5 minutes it would have taken Goff to stop at a Walgreens would have been too long to make "The girl" wait.

The story got more weird. Goff said that drinky came up to him and said "Baldy isn't the type of guy that would know where to get condoms." That made no sense to me. I didn't know that there are people that didn't know where to get condoms. So Goff said he felt bad once drinky said that to him. You should have felt bad even if Baldy knew where to go to get them.

Anyway, a weird story and weird thing for Goff to do.

To say nothing of the creepy emasculating aspect of this story, I think the general pattern of "do shit for me that doesn't educate you" is why CBS can't have interns anymore.

This is what happens in a fraternity. Guys makes pledges do shit , because they had to do shit. They act like assholes, because people acted like assholes to them.

Taking it to the WSCR Frat, guys on air, dont do shit to produe a show, because they didnt get help producing the show. They worked for guys who showed up 5 mins before he show and leave when its done, so now they do it.

The product now shows the lack of work put into the shows.

yeah that's the thought i had when i got to the part where it was like "he wouldn't know where to get them" i was thinking "goddamn goff really had to rub it in that he gets laid and baldy doesn't, eh?" and that was prolly the whole point of the exercise.... if there was a narrator doing the animal planet episode on humans he'd overdub that exchange like "here the alpha asserts his dominance over another male"

That's why Goff asked him to get the condoms. It was kind of a bragging thing. Him wanting to let baldy know that he was getting laid. It's just in poor taste to ask an intern at work to do that. Not to mention straight up weird to ask anybody to get you condoms. At work or otherwise.

Brothers don't ask crackers to get them condoms, Goff!!!!! C'mon. You never heard of that rule? What do you know? I know one that you don't know.

One of my biggest laughs ever is in Police Squad. Frank invites the lovely Prisilla Presley over to his place and checks the fridge for some snacks. The leftover meat is moving on the kitchen counter and Frank passes out when he smells his expired milk. The first time seeing it was great.

Alright, it was a far fetched theory. I know. But I'm of the opinion that in the history of the world, any weird scenario you could possibly think of, either has happened at least once or it will happen.

For me, I'd still go buy the condoms over executing a professional hit.

It's a bit more humiliating but at least the clerk has some idea that I might be a sex-havin' person.

Why do people assume Goff is getting laid just because he asked Baldy to get him rubbers? This type of move by Goff is a classic attempt to make himself out to be some pimp. Only an insecure adult would ask someone else to purchase them birth control. He probably never used the condoms and ended up jacking off into a vomit bag.

He claimed that he got a call from "The girl" to be ready when he got home. But you make a good point. He might have made that up and just asked Baldy to get the condoms cuz he's insecure and needed people at the station to think he gets laid. Because when he told the story drinky was aware that Baldy was getting condoms for Goff. So that's 2 people that were aware. He probably told everybody at that station.

The SCORE is a weird place with weird people.
