I don't see that going on in this thread.

I like the Cubs chances.

Arrieta has faced the Pirates five times this year, going 3-1 with a 0.75 ERA. He struck out 33, allowed only 18 hits and walked only five hitters over 36 innings.

Are you saying take Castro out?

I vehemently disagree.

He's got the look of a scapegoat to me do to his past mentel errors on the defensive end.

Jimmy, you've come back from the dead.

Surely, Castro can come back from some defensive disinterest.

At this point I'm convinced he's been involved in some Charlie Gordon type experiment, and clearly he reached his zenith some time ago, and we're currently witnessing the rapid regression.

sounds like you two need some quiet reflecting time

It doesn't make me mad (like it does CoF), it just doesn't make any sense. I can't think of any reason to do it now if it wasn't done for 95%+ of the season.

Sure it does, Maddon is thinking 8-9 innings for jake..no bullpen so no pinch hitting early.

I'm about to break out the Vodka. I'll start with a Bloody Mary then on to Vodka & tonic...very little tonic.

Another stat, Cubs are 1-0 in play-in type games.

Yes, it does.

If I don't pay attention, I might miss a pitch. I might miss a base hit. I might miss a defensive alignment change.

I never said what I did affected any outcomes. Learn to read. You decrepit fuck.
