Its hard to be a fake or new Celeb Cub fan. We have a roster of legit long suffering ones (Murray, Belushi, Montagna, Vedder, fucking Billy Corgan) so you cant sneak in

Corgan for sure is a real Cub fan. He isn't going to show up at the Cell for a playoff game wearing a Sox cap. I respect that.

Anyway, Bill Murray was on an episode lamenting his love for the Northsiders way back then. He was roundly booed by the studio audience but he never wavered... #Respect.

To me, the real guy is the one who shows up for a game when they're ten games back in August. You don't see Cusack then. If the Sox happen to be good, he might be on the South side. And I don't think he ever goes on his own dime.

Agreed, JORR. I am more of a Sox fan than Cubs fan and I will always love the Sox - as you do.

No doubt they have had several disappointing seasons and I am hoping for the best but they are still my #1 team and I wear the gear proudly.

Sports team loyalty is like a marriage - there are some days it's absolute heaven and some days pure hell. But you stay through thick and thin because you are in love.
